Big drama on the cobbles! 🚨

If you’re a Corrie fan, you’ll know that Tyrone was rushed into hospital after a shocking hit-and-run, leaving him with life-changing injuries. 😔

And that’s where our medical props came in 🏥. Creating authentic hospital A&E set-ups like this is second nature to us. We know exactly which medical props are needed to create a scene that is believable and impactful on screen, with every detail carefully considered.

This storyline, developed in collaboration with is shining a light on the impact of spinal injuries, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

Back on set! 🎬

Chloe kicked off the week doing what she loves, being back on set!

This time we joined forces with our friends at MediScene to pull together a huge medical set.

Big productions = teamwork, and it was brilliant to team up with Carlton again to get everything spot on for filming 👌

While Chloe is now back in the office, our medical advisor will remain on set, making sure filming runs smoothly and every detail is medically accurate.

In this industry, collaboration isn’t just helpful, it’s powerful. And we love being a part of it. 🫶

We were so excited when we heard Lena Dunham was making a comeback with her new sitcom ‘Too Much’ (‘Girls’ fan here 👋), and then we found out our medical props would be making an appearance too! 🏥

The Netflix romcom follows the adventures of thirty-something producer Jessica as she ditches Brooklyn for London after a messy break-up. 🇺🇸 💔 🇬🇧

As the story unfolds, our team was proud to supply a selection of our props for medical scenes throughout the series. 🎥.

After 10 incredible years, we’re saying goodbye to Pam as she moves on from Medical Hire 😢

Pam was the very first member of the team after Chloe, and together they built the foundations of what Medical Hire is today, from setting up systems to growing the business.

Pam has been a constant support, a steady hand in the office, and someone we could always rely on. 🫶

Whether it was being a sounding board for ideas or simply knowing things were in safe hands while Chloe was out on the road, Pam made a huge difference!

We wish her all the very best in this next chapter. She’ll be greatly missed! ❤️

Season 2 of Karen Pirie dropped this weekend on ITV 🕵️‍♀️, and we were thrilled to supply a range of our medical props for the show once again!

From the mortuary to the hospital (of course, it is a detective drama after all!), our props helped set the scene for all the twists and turns.

Keeping one step ahead...

Chloe recently visited the EBME medical expo in Coventry, and it was the perfect opportunity to stay ahead of the game and see what’s happening in the healthcare world 👀

The show was packed with new products and ideas. And it was reassuring to see that many of the items on display are already part of our existing prop catalogue, confirming that we’re offering authentic, up-to-date equipment for productions. 🏥

What was really exciting was getting a look at products so new that many hospitals haven’t even introduced them yet! It’s invaluable for us to know what’s coming onto the market, helping us stay ahead of the curve and ensure our props remain as current and realistic as possible.

Chloe and our fantastic burns medical advisor Paul recently headed to the cinema to see F1: The Movie, starring Brad Pitt, and they loved every minute of it! 🏎️🏁

It's always great to see a major Hollywood production filmed on our home turf and creating jobs for the British film and TV industry! 🏁
