A little Re-introduction for anyone new to SupportiveAction 💕
At SupportiveAction, our work starts with people 💗 not checklists ❌, not templates 📄, and not “one-size-fits-all” solutions.
We take the time to understand the whole context around a person’s life, including:
✨ daily routines and real-world environments 🏡
✨ personal goals, values, and priorities 🎯
✨ physical, cognitive, and sensory needs working together 🧠🤍
✨ how to support safety without limiting independence or experience ⚖️
💗 Who we work with
We support children and adults 👶👵 with complex and overlapping needs, including:
• Paediatric and adult care packages 🧑⚕️
• Acquired and traumatic brain injury (ABI/TBI) 🧠
• Complex physical disability ♿
• Sensory integration and regulation differences 🌈
🧠 How do we work?
Our approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in everyday life 🌍:
• Moving & handling consultancy embedded into daily care routines 🤝
• Occupational therapy focused on participation, function, and meaningful activity 🛠️
• Sensory-informed strategies that support regulation and engagement 🌿
• Realistic risk management that works in homes, schools, workplaces, and the community 🏠🏫💼
🤍 What guides us?
We believe good support doesn’t just prevent harm, it enables life 💫
That might mean:
• Supporting safe movement and meaningful experiences 🚶♀️➡️🌍
• Balancing carer wellbeing with dignity and choice 🤍🫶
• Making space for education, employment, travel, hobbies, and connection 📚💼✈️🎨, not just essential care
If you’re navigating:
✔️ complex needs that don’t fit standard models 🧩
✔️ situations where OT, moving & handling, and sensory needs overlap 🔄
✔️ decisions where safety, quality of life, and autonomy must all be considered ⚖️
💗 SupportiveAction is here to help.
We’re proud to work alongside families 👨👩👧👦, therapists 🧑⚕️, case managers 📋, and care teams 🤝 in complex, very human situations.
Please feel free to drop us a message if you would like any more information 💕
