A small moment I noticed recently…

Something happened that would usually have triggered a strong reaction in me.

And for a moment I felt it starting.

But instead of getting pulled fully into it… I paused.

Not perfectly. Not instantly calm.

But aware of the felt sensations bubbling.

That pause felt small… but it was different.

And that difference matters.

Because this is how things begin to shift. Noticing.

Not by forcing change…
but by slowly creating space for something new.

Real change is often quieter than we expect.

It’s not always a big breakthrough moment.

Sometimes it looks like:
• Pausing instead of reacting
• Noticing something you didn’t before
• Being slightly kinder to yourself
• Feeling a little more steady in situations that used to overwhelm you

These shifts can be easy to overlook.

But this is where real meaningful change actually happens.

Not in perfection…
but in small, repeated moments over time.

Not all support is the same… and that matters more than people realise.

Sometimes you just need reassurance.
Sometimes you want to understand what’s going on.
And sometimes… you feel ready to explore things more deeply.

The challenge is that we often try to jump ahead.

Trying to “fix” something before we’ve really understood it.
Or pushing ourselves into deeper work before we feel ready.

The BodyWise Journey is about meeting yourself where you are.

Your body is always trying to help you.

Even when it doesn’t feel like it.

When you feel overwhelmed…
When you shut down…
When you react quickly or intensely…

These aren’t signs that something is wrong with you.

They’re signs that your nervous system is doing its job.

Protecting you.
Responding to what it perceives as too much.

The challenge is that many of these patterns were shaped earlier in life…

So they don’t always match what’s happening now.

That’s where understanding begins.

Not to control your body…
but to start working with it.
