Recently, I have been on an unexpected journey.

A wonderful one, and so I thought I would share with you why it has gone a little quiet over here 🥰

After travelling Thailand with my children and husband, we decided to trial the whole worldschooling thing. So my availability has decreased for wellbeing support, clinical supervision and consultations but I am still offering support online in many different forms.

I am currently in Portugal at a worldschool hub with my boys and we are absolutely living life to the full. It is a juggle to fit it all in but I am adapting and it is working ☺️💓

This has been a dream of ours for so long and I am pleased that I can continue to offer my support online. Even more so now that I can offer my work outside of the UK too.

I have met such wonderful people on our travels and the opportunities for Pencil Me In seem exciting. I am now even offering support internationally, including to clients in Canada and Albania.

So as I juggle this crazy, wonderful life - please follow along and know that I am still offering sessions online 😊.

This path is a bold one, but sometimes you have to trust your intuition and see where the path leads to. This path seems to be leading to really beautiful things.

Anxiety can feel like a constant hum beneath everything… like your body is always bracing, even when nothing is wrong.

For so many women, it’s not just in the mind, it lives in the nervous system, in the breath, in the way we hold ourselves through the day.

But there are softer ways to meet it. Ways that don’t ask you to fight, fix, or push it away. I will help you to:

🌿 Step outside and let nature guide you. feel your feet on the ground, notice your surroundings. Let your body remember what safety feels like.

🌙 connect to yourself and trust your intuition. Light a candle, pull a card, sit in stillness, or simply place a hand on your heart and breathe. You don’t need anything complicated… just be present.

✨ Speak to yourself with compassion. I like to think that anxiety is not a weakness, but a message to ourselves. A call to slow down, and to listen.

You are allowed to move at a different pace.
You are alowed to rest.
You are allowed to feel safe in your own body again.

The first time I visited Thailand I was in my early twenties.. I was deeply moved by their attitude to life, their slow pace, their kind ways and warm nature. I returned home and immersed myself into yoga, mindfulness (sati), compassion (metta) and other Buddhist principles.

Nursing certainly helped me to embed them in some ways but in my personal life I understood that suffering is part of existence and reminded myself of the meaning of impermanence. Emotions come, they move through you and pass. Such an effective perspective to have about life 🌸

In Thailand, time seems to slow down and I'm enjoying this pace and self enlightenment right now.

Thank you for your patience with me, I will reply to emails in a weeks time. But for now the bonfire on the beach is calling me and my children are calling me to join them for a swim in the sea

I thought you might like to hear about our pilgrimage, climbing the Monk’s Trail in Chiang Mai. Its roughly 650–700 years old, dating back to the 14th century (around 1355–1385) during the Lanna Kingdom's reign of King Kuena. It's an ancient pilgrimage path to the sacred Wat Pha Lat and up to Wat Doi Suthep.

It was historically used by monks for meditation and to ascend Doi Suthep mountain, originally acting as a resting point for the white elephant carrying relics to the main temple.
The trail passes this ancient temple, a serene, jungle covered 14th century place known for its quiet, meditative atmosphere. It was absolutely beautiful. It felt like time was standing still. Has anybody been to Wat Pha Lat? The higher temple wasnt quite the same, typically gold with gold statues... but Wat Pha Lat and its natural beauty was deeply moving 🤍🇹🇭

When I'm not attending online events, delivering therapy sessions, being mum or walking the dogs, you will find me on an adventure 🏞

I just love feeling exhilarated. Cold water on my skin, the wind blowing through my hair, feeling cold, feeling hot, being at the top of a view point or gliding along the water.. it makes me feel alive. If I want to boost my mood - I go on an adventure!

I LOVE that my clients love to hear about my adventures and share how I inspire them. In fact, one of my clients was that inspired, she decided to book a ski trip, and another decided she was going on a solo trip to South America 💪

Knowing that I am inspiring you to be independent and adventurous makes my heart sing... so shall I share more adventures with you here? And would you be interested in wellbeing retreats that include a little more adventure? 👀

Oh do you have time to linger

for just a little while

out of your busy and very important day,

for the gold finches that have gathered

in a field of thistles for a musical battle,

to see who can sing the highest note,

or the lowest,

or the most expressive of mirth,

or the most tender?

Their strong, blunt beaks drink the air

as they strive melodiously

I don't know about you but a gentle, festive break was definitely enjoyed by all in my home 🫶

Board games, food, walks, and cozy fires have mainly been the only things on our to do list and I'm not sure whether my body is ready to start going at a faster pace yet. But here we are, in January where society romps up the pressure to create goals and start being productive again. I'm still very much enjoying winter mode and embracing snowy walks over the hills, then returning to my laptop in front of the fire.

So... with no pressure but an open invitation - If you would like to book a gentle, cozy session for mental health support or a bit of general life coaching I have some availability over the next few weeks, but after that my availability will be from March 2026.
