We are looking for a qualified Registered Manager who has prior experience [being registered with CQC or an experienced Deputy who is ready for the step up]
The Registered Manager will be offered a fantastic package of £50,000 - £60,000. The Registered Manager must have
• QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred)
• Residential Child Care: 3 years (Required)
Children with challenging behaviour and statutory order with Youth Justice Teams
• Full UK Manual Driving License (Required)
• Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding results and deliver the highest quality person centred care.
• Strong staff management skills
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements

The Registered Children's Homes will be responsible for accommodating and caring for two to four children on a medium to long-term basis. These children may have experienced neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation, or domestic abuse. Our clients prioritise these children and young people with complex behaviour, such as challenging behaviour and are committed to providing them with the best possible future, a fundamental right of every young person.

To be successful as a Registered Home Manager, you will need to possess the following essential attributes:
You must have recent experience working within the residential sector at registered manager level within a young people’s service.
A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum
A Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards completing this
Experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting
To implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
To lead and manage a team to deliver excellent care and support for young people within the service
To carry out routine meetings, supervisions, probationary reviews and lead on investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team
To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. To offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people
Undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model.
To develop systems in which young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive
Working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
Chairing children’s meetings and facilitating consultation with young people generally
