Air Hockey and Basketball Championship!

There’s nothing like a bit of friendly competition to bring people together! 💙

We paired up to play against the other teams in the group for some fun games, sharing laughs and cheering each other on.

The laughter and giggles this brought to the room was huge, we all loved these games so much.

Having a partner helps build trust, communication and confidence which can be especially meaningful for people affected by dementia. 🤝✨

It wasn’t just about winning it was about connecting, supporting one another, cheering on your partner and the other teams and enjoying every moment together. 💫

Yes please, we love a cupcake…..especially when it’s a unicorn, just look at that!! 🦄

We all enjoy a good cupcake decorating session 🧁 It is a great opportunity to create moments of laughter and creativity.

We had a visit from ZooLabs last week and we met so many new friends!!Who would’ve thought cockroaches would steal the show though!? 🪳

After our amazing visit we’re officially big fans of them and we all had a brand new appreciation for natures toughest insect!

ZooLabs were great and we all had the best time, thank you so much for coming!

Come along to Uppingham Cricket Club on Monday 24th November or to the Lutterworth Cricket Club on Tuesday 25th Nov to come and say hello!

We will be there from 11am - 2pm both days. We can answer any questions you have and are happy to show you around the venues ♥️

Happy bonfire night to all our members and families 🔥

As the skies light up tonight, remember that Bonfire Night can be a time of excitement but also confusion or anxiety for people living with dementia.

💙 Here are a few gentle tips to make the evening enjoyable and safe for everyone:
✨ Keep noise to a minimum or enjoy quieter fireworks from a distance
✨ Close curtains to reduce startling flashes
✨ Offer reassurance if someone feels unsettled
✨ Share comforting memories of past Bonfire Nights sharing familiar stories can bring warmth and connection

Let’s celebrate safely with understanding, kindness and a little extra sparkle for everyone. ✨
