4 factors of fertility as per Ayurveda

Conception is compared to planting the seed of a plant, 4 aspects are important for the seed to grow into a healthy plant.

1. Beej or seed refers to the quality & health of the s***m or o**m

2. Kshetra or soil refers to the body, especially the uterus where the seed is planted.

3. Ambu or vital nutrition/fluid that will nourish the mother’s body and create a warm cosy environment for the baby to grow

4. Ritu or timing usually refers to the ovulation or fertile window

Are you deficient in iron?

Iron is a crucial mineral that plays a vital role in maintaining good health, especially for women. Proper iron intake is essential as it aids in the formation of red blood cells, supports energy levels, and ensures a healthy immune system.

Iron Deficiency symptoms :

- Fatigue
- Weakness
- Pale skin
- Shortness of breath
- Dizziness
- Cold hands and feet
- Brittle nails
- Headaches
- Inflammation or soreness of the tongue
- Difficulty swallowing
- Fast or irregular heartbeat
- Unusual cravings for non-nutritive substances, such as ice or dirt (a condition called pica)

Women, particularly those with heavy menstrual periods, pregnant or breastfeeding, are more susceptible to iron deficiency.

So many of you have requested to learn more about menopause, so I decided to make it a live webinar on Zoom so we can have a conversation about how we can prepare ourselves for this major transition.

It’s true that menopause occurs between 45-55 years, largely dependent on your mother, but many of us start experiencing pre-menopausal symptoms from their late 30’s !

This is due to the environment we live in, as this is supposed to be a smooth transition happening at 60 years old in previous generations.
