Kayleigh has these words she wishes to share about Dusty!
"As part of the BBC Animal Award, I nominated Dusty, a beautiful, brave life-changing pony who helps so many vulnerable people.
Playing a vital part of the soar valley western stables. Dusty has touched the lives of so many, including myself.
With Dusty carrying his own scars and triumphs of making it through hard times, he is great at helping others through theirs, even when a situation feels completely hopeless. As a patient and loving guide, he helps people recognise and come to understand any detrimental patterns and how to change them.
Personally, Dusty has given me back everything that mental health took away. What a truly special pony!
The result? Now he is one of the finalists for the BBC award, amazing!
Dusty you should be proud of all that you are and that you do!
You will always be a champion in my heart and so many others."
