We made Welsh ladies & gentlemen, the residents thoroughly enjoyed our crafts afternoon ☺️

🎟️✨ Raffle Reminder at Ashmore Grange! ✨🎟️

Our Christmas raffle is still running, with the draw taking place on Tuesday 23rd 🎄

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a Tatcha skincare bundle, an alcohol bundle, festive hampers and vouchers 🎁🤞

Tickets are available at reception for just £1 a strip, with all proceeds supporting The Alzheimer’s Society and our Residents’ Fund 🩷

We had some very special visitors yesterday… and no, not Santa (yet 👀 🎅).

The brilliant children from New Lubbesthorpe Primary School popped in to deliver handmade Christmas cards to our residents, and they absolutely stole the show. Smiles everywhere, happy chatter, and a few residents claiming the cards as their “favourite Christmas present already” (sorry Santa).

The cards are now proudly displayed around the home, bringing colour, warmth and a lot of festive cheer, proof that the best gifts don’t come in Amazon boxes ❤️

A huge thank you to the pupils and staff for spreading kindness, joy and a proper dose of Christmas magic ✨

A little festive reminder that our Christmas Raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 23rd, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved!

It’s been a cosy few days here at Ashmore Grange, the kettles haven’t stopped and neither have the smiles.

Our residents are keeping warm, well and wonderfully chatty as we drift deeper into December.

✨🎄 Christmas lights, community cheer… and one very glamorous switch-on assistant! 🎄✨

Last night we bundled up (several layers… it was brass monkeys out there!) and joined the crowd for the Lubbesthorpe Christmas Light Switch-On.

And the highlight?
Our lovely Hilary stole the show by helping to switch on the Christmas tree lights! ⭐️
Move over Mariah Carey, Hilary’s officially kicked off Christmas now!

We had music, laughs, cups of something warm, and an atmosphere so festive even the Grinch would’ve cracked a smile.

A huge well-done to Lubbesthorpe Parish Council and Lubbesthorpe Alive, who pulled off an event so good we’re already wondering if they take bookings for next year’s VIP switch-on team… 👀

A big thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome. This is our first Christmas at Ashmore Grange, and nights like this make it feel all the more special. 🎅✨
