Happy International Women’s Day 💛
Today we are celebrating all the incredible women out there who are building, creating, supporting, and lifting others up every single day. Being a woman in business is something I’m truly proud of, and I feel even more grateful to be walking this journey alongside another strong woman.
Together we’re growing Blethyn’s Hive from the ground up — putting in the long hours, doing the hard work ourselves, learning every day, and building something we truly believe in.
Blethyn’s is named after a very special woman who is sadly no longer with us — Jenny’s mum. Her strength, love, and legacy live on through everything we’re building, and it makes this journey even more meaningful.
Here’s to women supporting women, creating opportunities, and doing our best every day.
The journey is just getting started, and I’m so proud of what we’re creating together. 🐝✨

We are so thankful for all of the donations we’ve received so far from all of you - thank you so much xx

We do want to recognise a wonderful family we’ve been with today. Their beloved family member, Martin, passed away recently. Martin was a carpentry lecturer at Melton and supported many young people throughout his life. Andrea, Martin and Hayley (pictured) allowed us to have any donations we wished from Martin’s house, as he’d have wanted his belongings to support young people into the future.

Martin’s family donated a sofa, two tables, two chests of drawers, shoe rack, a gazebo, outside furniture for our allotment, work tables and lots and lots of gardening equipment! We are so grateful and wanted to recognise Martin and his family here xx

A little bit of outside progress! We are freshening up the frontage ready for our signs. Still a few days work to be done but we enjoyed meeting our neighbours for some good chats yesterday whilst painting!

The young people during the Easter holiday clubs will be helping us with a few hanging baskets an outside floral displays to really spruce things up! X
