Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Today we’re celebrating the incredible women of Elderflower Care Services… the real life superheroes of thecare world!

Not the glamorous kind though.

The kind who can:

☕ make 14 different cups of tea and coffee exactly how everyone likes them

🔍 find missing glasses that are literally on someone’s head

📺 fix the TV that’s “definitely broken” (it was on the wrong channel)

🧦 locate the missing slipper that the dog has proudly hidden

🚗 navigate country lanes, tractors and mystery postcodes with 3 minutes to spare.

Our team of women who also have a special skill where they pop in for a 30 minute call and somehow leave an hour later after:

✔ a cup of tea

✔ two biscuits

✔ hearing three life stories

✔ and being told “you’re the nice girl who came earlier”… even though you’ve been visiting for 3 years.

In all seriousness though, the kindness, patience and humour our team of women bring to their work every single day makes such a difference to the lives of the people we support.

We are incredibly lucky to have you.

Now go put the kettle on… you’ve probably got five teas waiting somewhere. 💜

💜Flipping fantastic fun today at Elderflower Care Services ! 🥞✨💜

Our lovely clients got involved by telling us exactly what toppings they fancied from classic lemon & sugar to chocolate, fruit, syrup and cream!

Lots of smiles, plenty of chatting, and of course… very happy taste testers at the end 😋💜

It’s the little moments like this that turn a care visit into something extra special 💜

Valentine’s Day done the Elderflower way 💕

Hannah has been out and about delivering our little heart-filled care packages to our wonderful clients, and what a joy it’s been to see so many of them proudly donning their heart headbands! ❤️

There’s been laughter, sweet treats, and plenty of special moments shared between our clients and carers. It’s these small thoughtful touches that make such a big difference and remind everyone that they are valued, remembered and cared for.

A huge thank you to Hannah and our incredible team of carers who always go that extra mile to bring warmth and happiness into the homes we visit. We’re so proud of the love and compassion shown every single day.

💜 We’re Recruiting a Care Coordinator (Elderflower Leicester) 💜

Our Leicester branch is busy and growing, and we’re looking for a Care Coordinator who isn’t afraid of a workload and believes in mucking in as part of a team.

This role isn’t just desk-based, you’ll be right at the heart of our service, supporting care calls when needed and being part of the on-call rota to make sure our clients and carers are always looked after.

⏰ 40 hours per week plus an on-call rota.

📣We’re looking for a Care Coordinator to join our busy and dedicated Oadby team.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where you’ll play a huge part in supporting our clients and the care team who look after them every day.

You’ll help coordinate care, manage rotas, respond to changes, and be a reassuring point of contact for both carers and families.

It can be busy and sometimes challenging, but you’ll be part of a supportive, friendly office team who genuinely care about each other and the people we support, it does require resilience, organisation, and the ability to think on your feet.

This role suits someone who is organised, kind, and reliable, and who wants a career where their work truly matters.
