Hannah Taylor-Rollings has the pleasure in announcing the formation of HT-R First Aid Courses.
Background:
I have been a qualified nurse in adult and paediatric nursing for 18 years. And have been teaching first aid courses to various students in the health care profession for a number of years.
I am currently focusing on providing paediatric first aid for small groups of up to 6 people.
The course will provide candidates with knowledge of:
How to perform a primary survey in the context of DrABC - presentation.
Paediatric Basic Life Support - infant/child - interactive.
Management of a choking infant/child - interactive.
Recovery position - interactive
Recognition of anaphylaxis and how to administer an Epi-Pen -presentation and interactive
Management of severe bleeding and recognition of shock - presentation and interactive.
Management of arm injuries and the application of a sling -presentation and interactive.
First aid treatment for burns - presentation.
Management of sprains and strains - presentation and interactive.
The course can be tailored to the requirements of the candidate and the above list is not exhausted, additions can be made.
I will provide a relaxed and friendly environment and will travel to the candidates home or specified place of work.
You will be provided with a certificate at the end of the course for proof of attendance which will include the subjects covered and the duration of the course in keeping with the OFSTEAD requirements.
Prices are competitive from £60.00 per person.
