💙 Cervical Cancer Prevention Week 💙

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers – and regular screening saves lives.

If you’re aged 25–64, cervical screening can detect early changes before cancer develops. It’s quick, it’s important, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.

✔️ Check you’re up to date with your smear test
✔️ Book an appointment if you’re due
✔️ Speak to us if you have concerns or need extra support

Early detection makes all the difference. Please don’t delay.

The surgery is closed for training this afternoon - Wednesday 14th January from 1.00pm - 6.30pm.

All staff will be taking part in mandatory meetings for our teams learning and development.

Information for New Years Eve From 4pm ⬇️

Patients may attend:

➡️ Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre, Loughborough Hospital Way, Loughborough, LE11 5JY

➡️ Derbyshire Health United (DHU) will manage and triage practice telephone calls between 16:00 and 18:30 for New Years Eve.

➡️ Calls to the surgery will be diverted to 0300 323 0671 from 4:00pm on New Years Eve.

➡️ The diversion will end at 6:30pm.

➡️ After 6:30pm patients should call 111 for out of hours medical help.

🆘 In a medical emergency always call 999.

⚠️ The surgery will be CLOSED:

From 4pm on Wednesday 31st December and
Reopen at 8am on Friday 2nd January 2026.
