♻️ Going Green at Beauleigh Court! 🌱

Beauleigh Court are excited to share a new eco-friendly initiative that started this month. The team have begun bagging all of their shredding and sending it to the Head Chef John’s pigs to use as cosy bedding , and once it’s used, it’s composted, making it twice recycled! 🐷💚

They are also continuing to donate any leftover hospital blankets and well-loved towels or bedding to the Dogs Trust to help keep rescue dogs warm. 🐶🧡

Today we helped our lovely Pat celebrate her birthday! Pat, you are such a wonderful part of our community. We also enjoyed tap dancing with Ella - what a treat for us all.

On Sunday, some of our residents took full advantage of a showing of ‘Mamma Mia’ in our cinema with popcorn and homemade cocktails/mocktails!

Then yesterday some of our group accessed the local community with our mini bus and enjoyed an afternoon tea at the Westcliff Hotel.

Yesterday, we hosted our first Blue Light Afternoon Tea. It was a fantastic afternoon and so lovely for us to spend time socialising with the district nurses who visit our home frequently in a professional capacity, as well as getting to know other blue light professionals. We were joined by the police, a representative from a local dental surgery, a therapy dog and numerous friends and relatives. Of course, this was all made even more delightful by the tasty, sweet treats we were all able to enjoy!
