The other day a man in his eighties asked us to service and repair this Windsor Banjo - he said that it had belonged to his late Father who played songs to him when he was a young boy.
For him, the Banjo held rich glowing memories of music and bonding time. He asked us to repair it so he can learn to play the way his father did. It was a privilege to be a part of keeping his memory alive.
There i'snt much of a back story behind this. What drew us to the story was the sheer sentiment and respect he held for the instrument after so many years.
There is a clear memory of music being made within his family home with loved ones.
We're sure you will agree that this is living proof that it's never to late to pick up an instrument and learn something new. Music really is the food of love and memories.
