Tonight's the Strictly 2025 final. I've heard and seen the online trolling of Amber Davies and it strikes me that as we get older, unfortunately we don't always get wiser.
This young woman is in a competition, that she stepped into at the last minute!

Yes she has theatrical experience, that does NOT mean she is a ballroom and Latin dancer, both styles I danced for years and yet still wouldn't be instantly getting 40s if I were on strictly!

The message of ❤️ has somewhat vanished. How appalling grown adults think bullying someone else is acceptable. I counsel adults still impacted by the bullying they endure as kids.....

Personally I think every contestant on strictly this year has done brilliantly, it's an entertainment show. Please show compassion for others, you never know the impact your words will have upon them, if they are kind words they can only cause kindness, that's something everyone needs more of!

Best of luck to all the finalists you are all amazing & deserve to win, I don't have a favourite I just love the show

Happy Halloween
Personally I've never been that bothered about Halloween, until I had children. My eldest since she was small has always LOVED it, her passion and excitement has definitely rubbed off on me, the joy of children is a powerful thing. Let us all find our inner child, and show it sone love 💕

Group Therapy Sessions in Baldock on a Tuesday afternoon.

Two groups by age:
12 - 16 year olds 1:10 - 1:50pm on a Tuesday
7 - 11 year olds 2 - 2:40 pm on a Tuesday.

The sessions are designed to support your child's wellbeing and social skills.
Intentionally small groups to ensure those attending don't feel overwhelmed.

Through a mixture of art, games, talking and sensory stimulation, they will learn how to be comfortable in group situations, techniques for anxiety and emotional regulation, sensory overwhelm, how to notice the signs and support themselves, connect and make new friends.

The groups are limited to 10 per session, which is why pre booking is best as it guarantees a spot.

I am DBS checked with over 20 years experience of working with children and adolescents.

The groups are SEN friendly, I can accommodate parental involvement if required, please contact me to discuss further.

Home education allows the opportunity for your children to thrive outside of the confines of the education system.

My groups are there to support your child to develop those social skills and be ready for life post 16, without fear and overwhelm.

About Laura

I am a Play Therapist and Counsellor. Having worked with families and children with behavioral and emotional difficulties for 12 years in the education sector before training as a counsellor and play therapist I have a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents and adults.

I use talking therapies and creative techniques to support my clients. Play therapy is a way for toddlers, children and adolescents to express themselves when words are simply not enough. The creative techniques also work great with adults to achieve a deeper awareness.

I work one on a 121 face to face basis, as well as with parents and children to support them through a transitional period, area of difficulty and attachment play.

I work with toddlers through to adults, age is not a barrier when working together for to achieve positive, life affirming change.
