If you do t have to wear them, my advice is ..... don't!

Risk of injury and instability

Toe gripping: To keep the shoes on, wearers may curl their toes, which can lead to issues like toe pain, nail problems, and tendinitis.
Puncture risk: The holes are a ventilation feature but can also allow sharp objects to pass through and injure the foot.
Slippery when wet: The material can become extremely slippery when wet, increasing fall risk on surfaces like wet tiles or pool decks.
Other issues
Sweaty feet: The plastic construction can trap moisture, creating a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi that may lead to infections like athlete's foot.
