Pelvic Peace Of Mind Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation

There are certain questions about pelvic health that come up regularly in conversations with clients.

Because pelvic health is not always openly discussed, many people are unsure what is normal and when they should seek support.

Leaking, pelvic discomfort and changes in bladder habits are often assumed to be something people simply have to live with.

In reality, many pelvic health concerns can be improved with the right support and treatment.

For many people, long journeys, unfamiliar places and worrying about finding a bathroom can make travelling feel stressful.

Pelvic health symptoms are common, but they are not something you simply have to live with.

At Pelvic Peace of Mind, treatment programmes are designed to support pelvic floor strength and bladder control.

Many people complete an initial treatment block over three weeks, helping them take positive steps towards improving their pelvic health.

If you’re thinking about improving your pelvic health before an upcoming holiday, feel free to get in touch to learn more about the treatment options available.

Happy National Tea Day! ☕ And yes, we are absolutely making it about pelvic health.

Because we need to talk about something first, if you’re still reaching for a regular brew, it might be time to make the switch to decaf.

Caffeine is one of the worst things for your pelvic health. It irritates the bladder, increases urgency and can make symptoms significantly worse over time. So if you’re working on your pelvic floor and still drinking several cups of caffeinated tea or coffee a day, it’s worth knowing that one small swap can make a surprisingly big difference.

And while the kettle’s boiling on your new favourite decaf blend, here’s your reminder that your pelvic floor doesn’t need a gym. It just needs you to show up in the small moments.

A few squats while the tea brews? That’s a habit. And small, consistent habits built into the everyday are exactly how pelvic health improves over time.

It doesn’t have to take long. It doesn’t have to feel like hard work. It just has to happen.

Watch the reel, make the switch and squat while you brew. Your pelvic floor will thank you for both. 💚

Pelvic health can be influenced by many different factors, including everyday habits.
Sometimes small changes in daily routines or exercise techniques can make a positive difference in supporting the pelvic floor.

Understanding how these habits affect pelvic health is an important step in helping to protect and support these muscles.

If you recognise any of these habits, it may be worth exploring ways to support your pelvic health.

Pelvic floor strengthening has come a long way from just exercises.

The EmSella chair is a treatment designed to help stimulate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles using high intensity electromagnetic energy.

During a session, the chair stimulates the muscles to contract thousands of times, helping to strengthen the pelvic floor in a way that would be difficult to achieve through exercises alone.

The treatment is non-invasive and you remain fully clothed while seated comfortably on the chair.

Strengthening the pelvic floor can support bladder control, pelvic stability and overall pelvic health.

If you’d like to learn more about whether this treatment could be suitable for you, get in touch.

Pelvic health is often something people only think about later in life, particularly during pregnancy, after childbirth or when symptoms appear.

However, pelvic health is something that can be supported much earlier.

Understanding how the body works and recognising pelvic health as an important part of overall wellbeing can help people develop healthy habits and awareness from a young age.

Pelvic health can be influenced by many different factors throughout life, which is why education and awareness are so important.

Many people feel nervous about booking their first pelvic health appointment simply because they don’t know what to expect.

That’s why I offer a free consultation, which can take place in person or over the phone.

If you attend in person, there’s also the opportunity to experience a short trial session on the EmSella chair, helping you understand how the treatment works and what it feels like.

From there, we can discuss the most suitable treatment options and create a plan that supports your pelvic health and overall wellbeing.

Pelvic health concerns are far more common than many people realise and support is available.

If you’d like to arrange a free consultation or have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

Many people experience pelvic health symptoms at some point in their lives.
However, because these symptoms are rarely talked about openly, many people assume they are simply something they have to live with.

In reality, many pelvic health concerns can be improved with the right support and treatment.

If you recognise any of these symptoms, it may be worth seeking advice and support.

If you have questions about pelvic health, feel free to send me a message.

I’m Kate, the founder of Pelvic Peace of Mind.

I support women experiencing pelvic health concerns, by providing a safe and supportive environment where people can talk openly about symptoms that are often difficult to discuss.

Pelvic health can affect many aspects of daily life, yet many people live with symptoms for years without realising that help and treatment are available.

My aim is to provide professional, compassionate support and personalised treatment plans to help improve comfort, confidence and overall wellbeing.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing more information about pelvic health, common symptoms, treatment options and answering some of the questions I’m asked most often.

If there’s anything you’d like to know more about, feel free to send me a message.

Recently, I had the pleasure of being part of a wonderful afternoon at supporting

It was so nice to be part of such a special event, bringing people together for a fashion show and shopping afternoon, all in support of a charity doing such important work raising awareness around cancer and supporting families.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the afternoon so lovely:

for the fabulous fashion show

And of course to everyone who came along to support the event and the incredible work of The Stan Bowley Trust.

Events like this are such a lovely reminder of the power of community and how much can be achieved when people come together for a great cause 💫
