Friends 2 Friends Lichfield Friends 2 Friends are a fun,exciting group who are passionate about helping members socialise and learn skills needed to be part of the local community

F2F is a member led charity that supports adults with learning disabilities and others. . Since opening members have put on community events, gained qualifications, worked with local companies to improve the services they offer, supported Civic events, run a community breakfast club, moved into independent living and employment; one member has even done a skydive! Our members run other groups open

to the community e.g. Drama, living healthy group and Street dance. F2F will help with form filling, signposting to other organisations and any other help needed. Opening times are:
Monday 11-1pm (Cruck House)
Tuesday 2-4pm (Cruck House)
Wednesday 2-4pm (Curborough community centre)
Thursday 1pm - 3pm (Cruck House)
Friday 11 - 1pm (Cruck House)
4th Saturday of the month 11 - 3pm (Curborough community centre)

We were pleased to welcome Hanley Braille group to F2F this morning and what an amazing session we all had.
We learned about braille, how to use braille machines, used various types of glasses to show how visually impaired people saw things and learned to write our own name in braille.
The group explained about aspects of adjusting to blindness such as equipment, mobility and games and it was a really interesting morning.
A huge thank you to all members of the Hanley braille group and to our member George who helped organise this.

Huge well done to Antony, Steph and AJ Alice 2 for representing F2F at the PROBUS talk today. You all spoke brilliantly in front of a group of 30 strangers and answered any questions. I am so proud of you all.

Huge thank you to everyone who came to our coffee morning today, it was so lovely to see you all.
Thank you to the members and staff who worked so hard again, you were brilliant.
We are proud to say that we made £261 from refreshments, raffle and donations and we also made £42 selling items made by the members in session and Steph's diamond art.
