These exercises have been really successful as a starting point for treating a painful shoulder ( Subacromial Shoulder Pain). I use these for the first phase of rehab to get the shoulder moving and put it under a small amount of load before I progress to the next level. They can be done at home with minimal equipment. Repeat this routine 2 to 3 times daily until your shoulder starts to feel a little better. Please note that if you do have a painful shoulder it's always best to get it checked out by a professional.

Every week I'll be posting information about some the common injuries I see in my clinic. I'll also post a video of some of the manual therapy techniques I use to treat these problems and a selection of rehab exercises that I might prescribe. Obviously every case and every person is different and a thorough assessments is required beforehand but it gives you a general idea of what I do and what to expect :)
