Chanting can have a profound effect on our energy field and chanting a mantra (a repeated word or sound) is recognised by many as having a deeply calming and beneficial impact. Chanting in a children’s yoga class helps to bring a happy, positive atmosphere, aiding concentration and stillness - chanting together in class is also quite a lot of FUN! Within a child’s yoga class chanting could be any repeated word or sound! Chanting phonics is a great way to help secure sounds and mouth muscle movements - like singing a great brain training tool 🥰🙏

Seasonal smoothies are a great way to squeeze in, to small tummies, essential nutrients and minerals ♡ Homemade smoothies make an super low-sugar breakfast - find your favourite blend and try smoothing in some spinach too (they will never know!)

Autumn Apple Smoothie

*Apple of choice
*Banana
*A large date
*Milk, dairy or nut
*A little Honey
*peanut/nut butter (can be left out)

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Depending on the type of blender used, you may need to core and chop the apple before blending.

‘Hi I’m Beth, a fully qualified and certified children's yoga teacher with over 25 years of yoga practice, I have also worked within a school setting for 10years. Working with children in school settings has allowed me to develop a unique approach that combines mindfulness and movement, tailored specifically for young minds.

In addition I am also an illustrator and use my artistic skills to create engaging and educational materials that aim to captivate and inspire children in my classes.

I feel my holistic approach not only helps children develop physical strength and flexibility but also fosters emotional well-being and creativity, making my classes a nurturing environment for growth and exploration.

I hold a fully enhanced DBS and I’m on the mobile update service.
