anti-wrinkle treatments are prescription-only, so you need your consultation done before I can treat you.

If your Botox is due soon, or you’re planning a pre-Christmas refresh, coming in on the 28th means your prescription is covered and you can book your actual treatment any time after that.

✨ Botox Myths vs. Facts ✨

Let’s clear up some of the biggest misconceptions about anti-wrinkle injections, because understanding how Botox really works helps you get the most natural, beautiful results 💉

💉 Myth #1: “Botox works on all wrinkles.”
❌ Not quite! Botox targets dynamic wrinkles, the ones caused by muscle movement (think frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet).
If lines are visible even at rest (static wrinkles), we might combine treatments like dermal fillers or skin boosters for a smoother finish.

💉 Myth #2: “Botox fills wrinkles.”
❌ Nope! Botox relaxes the muscles that cause creasing, but it doesn’t add volume. If a line is deeply etched, Botox will soften it, but fillers are the go-to for plumping.

💉 Myth #3: “If Botox didn’t work, it’s the injector’s fault.”
❌ Technique absolutely matters, but so do factors like muscle strength, product resistance, and aftercare. A skilled injector will assess and personalise your treatment plan for the best, most consistent results.

💉 Myth #4: “Once you start Botox, you have to keep doing it forever.”
❌ Not true! If you stop, your muscles will simply regain movement and your expression lines will return to how they were before treatment. Many patients choose to maintain results because they love the refreshed look, but it’s completely up to you.

💉 Myth #5: “If you stop Botox, you’ll look worse.”
❌ False! Botox actually helps prevent wrinkles from deepening while it’s active. When you stop, you’ll simply return to baseline, and often with softer lines than before.
