The HPV vaccine reduces your chances of getting human papillomavirus (HPV), a common virus that's spread through skin contact (usually when having s*x).

Most types of HPV are harmless. But some types are linked to an increased risk of certain types of cancer, including:

cervical cancer
mouth cancer
a**l cancer
pe**le cancer
vulval cancer
vaginal cancer
HPV can also cause ge***al warts.

All boys born after 1st September 2009 who missed their vaccination can catch up at their GP practice until their 25th birthday

Children under 6 are now routinely offered the MMRV vaccine as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme.
MMRV replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.
