Friday is a beautiful day โ€” full of light, possibility, and the chance to take back control, allowing you to reset the mind. ๐ŸŒฟ

But too often, the internal critic tries to run the show: overthinking, doubting, filling your mind with nonsense & noise.

Today, remember this: you are not that voice.

Awareness is your superpower. When you recognise the chatter, just pause, then separate yourself from it.

Every time you separate yourself from the negative intrusive thoughts, you take back control. ๐Ÿ’ช

Do you ever catch yourself overthinking until your mind feels louder than your life? ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ญ

Overthinking pulls you into endless โ€œwhat ifsโ€ and future worries โ€” but most of them never happen. It steals todayโ€™s peace for tomorrowโ€™s problems.

Here are 3 ways to shift your headspace when your mind wonโ€™t switch off:

โœจ Ask yourself: โ€œWhatโ€™s true right now?โ€
Instead of spinning in โ€œwhat ifโ€ stories, anchor yourself to facts. This breaks the loop of imagined scenarios.

โ˜๏ธ Let your thoughts drift away like clouds
Close your eyes. Imagine each thought as a cloud in the sky. Watch it float past instead of clinging to it. The mind softens when you stop holding on.

๐ŸŒฟ Use the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique

๐Ÿ’ช We must assert our boundaries and share them with others to protect our well-being and create healthy relationships.

๐Ÿ˜” When our boundaries are disrespected and ignored, we may be left feeling anxious, sad, angry, or confused.

๐Ÿค” We can identify where we need to have boundaries in place by being aware of times we have been made to feel these emotions. As you identify the discomfort, you can label the boundary.

๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŒŸ Protecting our peace from being violated and our values from being compromised by external factors is important for our overall well-being, and it is within our power to do this. We all have a right to say no to situations that do not serve us.

๐Ÿค” Have you ever considered that failing doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™re a failure and that, actually, failing is for winners?

๐Ÿ’ช In order to fail, we must first try.

๐Ÿ˜ฐ How many of us never find the courage to try in the first place because of the fear of failing?

๐ŸŽฏ Think about a goal you would love to achieve but have never put a plan in place because you become overwhelmed with the failed fear.

๐Ÿ‘€ Now shift your perspective and think about what is the worst that could happen? You fail? Congratulations! ๐Ÿ‘ Youโ€™re now one fail closer to success.

๐Ÿง  The next attempt has new experience and knowledge that you didnโ€™t have previously!

๐Ÿšซ Remove the negative connotations associated with failing, and you also remove the limits on what youโ€™re able to achieve, which, in turn, invokes enthusiasm and motivation to reach for the stars.

Have you ever thought ๐Ÿง ย  that you are the computer and the world ๐ŸŒŽ around you programmes you without giving it a second thought? ๐Ÿค”

Our subconscious mind starts being programmed in the last trimester of being in the womb until we are around 7 years of age.

This is why children ๐Ÿšธ are like sponges, absorbing everything.

As we grow into our adult years our programming becomes more fixed. ๐Ÿ”ง

Think of everyday life as a form of conditioning where you are always learning ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ and adapting to new experiences and information, positive and negative.

Just like a computer can be programmed to perform certain functions and respond to certain inputs, you can also be programmed and conditioned through experiences, environment and social interactions to develop certain beliefs, habits and behaviours. โœจ๏ธ

The way we are programmed in our early years is out of our control and could begin to hold us back in adulthood.

Just like a compute programme may have bugs๐Ÿ› and need to be debugged or updated, a persons programming and conditioning can also be flawed and in need of change.

By having an awareness of what is already written on our hardrives we can pinpoint โ˜๏ธ what behaviours we want to change and create new habits to overwrite what doesnโ€™t serve us.

Looking for love?

Valentineโ€™s๐ŸŒนDay is known for being a celebration of love around the world. ๐ŸŒ

If you donโ€™t have a romantic partner you can still find love ๐Ÿ’› in other forms.

The western traditions of love stem from the Greeks and there are four types.

โœจEros, which is passionate love.

โœจPhilia, the love of friends and family.

โœจStorge, the love of parents for their children.

โœจAgape, the love of mankind.

Taking the time ๐Ÿ•’ to reflect ๐Ÿชžon the many forms of love we have in our lives is an uplifting practice.

Allowing yourself to experience the joy these relationships bring is incredible for your mental ๐Ÿง  well-being.

Connection โ™พ๏ธ with others is key, whether it comes from a partner, children, family, friends, pets or people you meet in your day-to-day life. ๐Ÿ™

Hope is the light that illuminates your path ๐Ÿ™ through all of life's ups and downs ๐ŸŽข

It is the flicker of light๐Ÿ•ฏin the darkness โ™ฅ๏ธ

Without hope, we would eventually cease to function and experience horrendous feelings of sadness, despair, and depression. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Finding the courage to be strong takes faith in to the unknow, it takes strength, determination, and resilience.

Sometimes, you may not have certainty that things will improve, but it is important to have faith that there is a possibility for things to get better. ๐Ÿ™
Take a moment to think, take yourself back to a time when someone said something to you, something that touched your heart, something that inspires you right now to find a little HOPE to bring back eveb a little piece peace or rest bite.

Try to remember that hopelessness doesn't have to be your permanent state of mind ๐Ÿง , you CAN regain HOPE. โœจ๏ธ

You might be someone that is constantly chasing after external sources of happiness ๐Ÿ”, only to eventually return to your baseline levels of happiness ๐Ÿ˜”.

Just like the rollercoaster offers temporary thrills ๐Ÿคช, the chase for happiness through materialistic possessions ๐Ÿ’ฐ and status ๐Ÿ’ผ can lead to temporary highs ๐Ÿ“ˆ, which can be unhealthily for your well-being ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ.

What is the law of attraction?

The law of attraction ๐Ÿ’ซ is a universal law that defines our ability to attract into our lives what we focus on. If we focus on positive things, we attract more positive things ๐Ÿ’ฅ.

It works constantly, like gravity ๐Ÿ”ฅ, always in effect even though we canโ€™t see it. Our thoughts emit energetic frequencies ๐Ÿ“ถ and the frequency we vibrate at determines what we will attract into our lives.

We can reprogram our minds ๐Ÿง  by creating awareness of negative thoughts and countering them with positivity ๐ŸŒž. By intentionally having goals, making plans, and believing in ourselves, we can align our core values to live in a way that attracts only our desires ๐Ÿ’ซ.

Practice makes perfect ๐Ÿ’ช. We are the architects of our own destinies ๐ŸŒŸ and it all starts with our thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ.
