Winnie’s birthday this week along side my mother in laws, meant a meal out and a few slices of cake which did have an impact on calories over the weekend

All workouts ticked off

The scales are moving up and down right now and I know why, adherence with calories hasn’t been as accurate as it needs to be, so this week head is down and ticking the boxes off.

Only thing planned this week is a friends evening Thursday which includes a meal out everything else can be on point.

I haven’t lost as much weight as I wanted in this fat loss phase but I massively under estimated how hard it would be this time round. The main thing is I am feeling so much better and clothes are feeling nicer on.

One week left of this first fat loss phase pp and I would like to just break the 60s before a mini diet break

Last push before a planned mini diet break which is mentally needed!

After Wednesday it all went a bit off track, the lack of sleep and being tired had a massive impact on motivation and my adherence this week. 


🏋️‍♀️ Workouts: 4/5
all workouts done apart from the long run which I managed to do yesterday to try and catch up.

No changes this week in the scales it’s been up, and down but not really drops

This week has been really hard and not one for excuses, ideally I always try to find solutions but this week the 4/5 month regression has hit, feeding has massively increased of a night which has had a huge impact on my energy levels

When I had Winnie I would just stay in bed longer or nap of a day but that’s so much harder to do this time round so just trying to push forward

Planning for this week is the focus and making sure I have a clear idea of what I’ll be eating for each meal. So even if I have a bad night I won’t be waking up and winging it.

Only thing this week is Winnie’s 3rd birthday on valentines ❤️ so there will be a little bit of cake to celebrate.

14 days to push and just aiming to get into the 50s to finish and have a little diet break.

Had a slightly higher day over the weekend while family were visiting.

workout routine is going well. So just repeating the routine again this week.

Another 0.6kg down while breastfeeding which I’m happy with.

3 weeks left to go! Not making any changes this week just working the plan 🫡

Average: 12,274 - was so sore saturday and had to solo parent most of the day so minimal steps were done 


🍽 Calories: 6/7 days at 1900
Monday - Wednesday everything was on point
Thursday I found out I was doing a hyrax so had to increase carbs to help with the event
Friday - we were on at 8am so didn’t have much time to fuel but managed to get something in, in the afternoon I was done in and didn’t eat enough really but I made up for this saturday then Sunday was back to normal

So yeah not ideal to have a hyrox event in the mid of a fat loss phase, I wouldn’t of planned it but just had to make some slight changes to make sure I had enough energy on the day

🏋️‍♀️ Workouts: 2/3
Managed 2 at the start of the week and then didn’t do the 3rd because of hyrax

So a little run through I have 4.5kg left to go and 4 weeks to do it which means I need to be losing 1.1 per week to hit that goal, likely hood of doing that in the amount of time while breastfeeding isn’t likely but we will see and even if we do half of that I’ll still be happy with it.

This week I have changed a lot of my training to get ready for possible hyrax or similar event this year so training this week looks like

- 2 Full body strength sessions (I do these with my mum and train her as well and she helps me with the baby)
- 1 hyrox session which will change each week (I will do this on my own with the baby, so might have to adapt it depending on how he is)
- 1 interval run
- 1 longer run zone 2 (Building this up week by week) This week im just going to go out and see how I feel before putting pressure on a distant

Food wise am going to drop calories 1700 however if I need more on training days or days Ronnie feeds more I will have it, this is just to try and test and see if we can drop weight a little quicker for the last few weeks

Average: 11,642 - Friday really let me down this week as I was driving for half the day picking up Winnies birthday present 🙃

The week started off great and then I had a day where I just felt starving and all the time, not sure if Ronnie was feeding more but anyways it meant calories were a little higher on that day

🏋️‍♀️ Workouts: 3/3
Managed to get all 3 in this past week and I was absolutely buzzing I managed to hit 1 pull up, so plan now is to included into the program again to build the numbers back up.

I have also joined a new gym which is closer to where we are living at the moment (currently in with the in laws which is 30 minutes from my usual gym) so me and Matt have joined and hopefully we can get some date workouts in together as the new gym is literally 2 minutes away and we are super lucky to have help from his parents with the kids! So hopefully 3 workouts might start increasing or improving as I won’t be rushing to get them in with a baby.

Not going to lie this week has been really disappointing, I feel like I have been showing up and really trying but weight just isn’t dropping below 61.5kg right now, the only positive is that daily changes are lower from the previous week so that means its coming but it really does feel slow this time.

I have 5 weeks left and I think realistically losing 5kg in them weeks to hit my target would mean I would need to get really aggressive with my diet and activity and to be honest I just dont have that in me at the moment while im BF, so my plan is to stay focused for the next 5 weeks hopefully lose another 2-3kg, have a diet break for my daughters birthday and then when I feel ready I will push into a deficit again to get the last bit of weight off before the summer
