This happens every Monday at 10am, we meet at the car park at Walton Hall Park.

We’ve had people coming back to running after years away, people who are brand new to running and people who just want to do the walking bit.

Over the summer we've invited families to join us! That way parents get to keep running and the kids get to join and make some new pals along the way.

It's wonderful to see Mum's and Dad's running with their kids!

This is what we mean when we talk about progressing together!

This isn’t a running club and there is no pressure or expectation to do anything other than do something positive for your wellbeing and we’re doing it as a community.

We run in a big circle on the field because when you run in a circle no one is first and no one is last and we all get to run together!

It's free to attend, everybody is welcome and all sessions will be tailored to you and your current ability, all you need is something comfy to run in and a bottle of water and we’ll do the rest.

We fully appreciate that sometimes turning up for the first one is the hardest bit and if you’d like a bit of extra help getting involved or need any more information please get in touch through this page or via the website!

Our aim at First Person Project is to build and uplift happy, healthy communities and part of this strategy includes responding to to***co related harm.

Smoking is significantly associated with mental health conditions, and people with mental health issues are more likely to smoke and find it harder to quit.

This service is not a ‘guilt trip’ or to make you feel bad in any way, the focus is solely on improving individual and community wellbeing.

If you are interested in learning more about how to stop smoking then we would love to welcome you to our workshop to find out more about how we can help.

We will be at the FPP Hub on Lodge Lane, Toxteth on Wednesday 30th July between 10-12.

We can offer some information around smoking and the process of cutting down and giving up and our team will be available to answer any questions and just to chat about smoking in general.

We will be able to offer Co2 and blood pressure readings and any information you need about signing up and getting your free v**e.

We want you to let us know what type of support you would like through this process and it’s a chance to have a brew and a chat with other people who are working towards the same goal of becoming smoke free.

Studies show that smokers with strong social support are more likely to quit successfully so come along for a chat and let’s do this together!

Any questions please get in touch via the website or message us through this page.

From the moment she sat down, to the moment she left, her mindset had already started to shift.

Some lovely feedback from someone who took part in our fundamentally healthy mental health education on “goal setting”. 🪄

It’s brilliant to see what can happen when we give ourselves the time and space to grow change mindsets.

Our weekly walk to run group has got off to a great start!

We’ve had people coming back to running after years away, people who are brand new to running and people who just want to do the walking bit.

If you would like to join us, we’re at Walton Hall Park every Wednesday at 10am by the community cafe.

We fully appreciate that sometimes turning up for the first one is the hardest bit and if you’d like a bit of extra help getting involved or need any more information please get in touch through this page or via the website!

As community champions, it’s our role to keep our communities informed, empowered and protected.

Vaccinations aren’t just personal protection, they’re a powerful way to protect the people around us too.

From childhood immunisations to flu jabs and boosters, knowing when to get them matters just as much as knowing why. ❤️💉

Turning Awareness Into Action

Much of the work carried out under the umbrella of “Mental Health Awareness” helps people reach fundamental levels of knowledge and awareness.

First Person Project’s objective is to “Go Beyond Awareness” and help people move to a state of “Mental Health Action”.
