Hi all. As you know my baby was unexpectedly taken out of me at 30 weeks. She then went into Whiston special care for 6 weeks. Due to only being 3lb 2oz she had to wear premature baby clothes and nappies etc. We obviously didn't have anything for premature babies and wasn't expecting her for another 2 months. We had to rely on donations and people kindly going to get her some while I was fighting for my life.
Ironically for someone who spends so much of her life on social media I couldn't share this journey or her photos of this time.
Now she is 4 years old and attending a Catholic school. I want to ensure she understands the importance of being grateful, giving back and how very lucky she is.
I am therefore doing a premature baby collection of clothes, hats, socks, blankets and nappies!
I will be taking Sofia to the hospital to donate them around Christmas time.
