Before you come at me, listen…
1️⃣ Everyone will respond differently to all sorts of things. It’s your responsibility to figure out what best works for you. I’m just trying to give you some ideas.
2️⃣ I said, “One of the tricks.” Not the only thing I do for fat loss, not the only thing that works, not the only thing that works for you, not that anything else is dangerous. One of the tricks.
3️⃣ I also didn’t say you have to cook everything. Sure, there will be loads of times when you don’t have access to a full kitchen. Bummer, but it’s true.
With our ever-dwindling attention spans and our need to snap our fingers and all of a sudden to lose weight, I understand why sensationalist influencers get attention.
But like the aforementioned gurus with no soul, this trick is also a play on psychology. All too often we find ourselves brain off, mouth open then all of a sudden, food gone.
By forcing myself to cook something when I feel hungry at odd times of the day (for me is usually later in the evening), I force myself to stop and decide if I’m hungry or this is boredom masquerading as hunger.
I like it. Apparently I can trick myself quite easily. Give it a go if it’s something that you think might help. Or don’t. After all, I’m just a stranger talking to a camera ;)
