Last week we put our fancy pants clothes on and headed to the National Diversity Awards. We were shortlisted for “Community Organisation of the Year” award. Although we didn’t win it was an honour to be in a room with people striving for inclusion! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! 😉

Our final artist to join the line up for the RAWD Fundraiser at  tomorrow ...It’s !

Shaun joined our cohort of guest artists during our summer masterclass series last year. We’re made up that he can be part of our special event tomorrow.

Shaun Fallows is a working class poet from Wigan born with Cerebral Palsy and a wheelchair user with a firm belief that his disability has given more than it has taken away. Shaun’s poetry ranges from the frustrations of everyday access issues, to travel, dating, and growing up.
He has several poetry books published and occasionally appears on TV and radio.
In 2022 Shaun performed a first solo show at the Edinburgh free fringe called Sunny and Chair. Whilst most recently in 2023 Shaun brought out a third collection of poems in a book called
Redundant Butties which he went on to tour across the nation with the support of Arts Council England.
