Kadampa Meditation Centre (KMC) Liverpool overlooks Sefton Park in the south of the city. KMC Liverpool has served as a special place of peace and refuge for all the people of Liverpool and Merseyside since 1994. The meditation and Buddhist practices taught at the centre and its local branches are suitable for everyone, from those who seek simple relaxation, to those who wish to find lasting inner peace and contentment through following the Buddhist way of life. The centre which is a registered charity is run entirely by volunteers both Buddhist and non Buddhist for the benefit of the people of Liverpool and Merseyside. We also have a World Peace Cafe and bookshop which is open to all, Wednesday-Sunday 11am-4.30pm.
This centre is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT~IKBU), an association of over 1200 meditation centres worldwide dedicated to helping people find peace and happiness through learning to meditate and think positively.
