Drawing on the timeless wisdom and compassion of Buddha’s teachings, as presented by the modern mediation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen la Kelsang Khyenrab — a retired General Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and the Resident Teacher at Tara IKRC in Derbyshire — will share how we can solve all our problems, such as anxiety, and fulfil our wish for peace, happiness, and a more meaningful life.
This is a rare opportunity to hear him teach during his visit to Liverpool.
Everyone is warmly invited to this inspiring event — no previous experience or commitment needed.

Why are so many of us suffering from Anxiety? 😦

We all share the same basic wish -
to be happy and avoid problems and pain.

We spend our whole life working hard to fulfil this wish and yet somehow, as time goes by, it seems our experience of happiness is reducing while our problems and worries are increasing;
our world appears defined by conflict and fear
and many suffer intense mental pain and anxiety.

This shows us that until now, although we try very hard, we have not found the correct method for reducing problems and increasing our happiness. In fact, the correct method for doing this is changing our attitude from negative to positive and the way to do this is actually quite simple.

How can I reduce my anxiety?

Start by not missing out, by booking now, ensuring that you get to hear the answers to these questions.

“Eliminating the distractions of my mind completely,
Observing and holding a single object of meditation with mindfulness,
And preventing the obstacles of mental sinking and mental excitement from arising,
In this way I will control my mind with clear and joyful meditation.”
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Meditation
Whenever we practise meditation, whether or not our meditation is clear, we are performing a virtuous mental action that is a cause of our future happiness and peace of mind.
