After only being supported by Natural Breaks for a short time, it was lovely to see how many friends Paul had made through his support and watch everyone celebrate together 🎉

From scenic coastlines to historic 🚌🌊

Anthony recently enjoyed a coach holiday to Scarborough and York with his support team - and had the best time!

He spent his days exploring the sights, tucking in to fish & chips, riding the central tramway and even, braving the Ferris Wheel for some unforgettable views 🎡

This was a chance for Anthony to relax and make some amazing memories that will last a lifetime!

This week, our 'Have our Say Group' met up to talk about support and future plans. Our discussions focused on fundraising and training. At Natural Breaks, we are committed to breaking down barriers.

Through platforms like our 'Have our Say Group', we provide those we support with safe spaces, education and pathways to empowerment, ensuring they have the resources to be independent and confident. Our group members work hard and use their voices to create real, lasting change 💥

During Learning Disability Week, Natural Breaks were invited to Picton Primary Care Network event 🩺

Together with people we support, we got to chat with local GPs about important topics like reasonable adjustments, vaccines & cancer screenings.

We also got the chance to learn more about independent travel training and connect with the team from 🚌

It was brilliant to be able to ask questions and learn more about our health - we left feeling more informed and empowered!

We were delighted to attend Options for Supported Living networking event about accessibility and inclusion in the workplace, at the end of Learning Disability Week 💼

It was so lovely to meeting like-minded organisations and individuals who are just as passionate as inclusion and building a better world for people with disabilities as ourselves!

There was great conversation, brilliant ideas and lots of new connections made 🚀

Spotlight on our Learning Disability Week Event helpers 🌟

Our friendly meet and greeters brought a real warmth to the event and ensured that every guest felt at home.

Our volunteers told people about their jobs, responsibilities and why they love working.

Paul, one of our walking group leaders, shared information about the walking group, it's origin and their future plans. He also helped create hampers that were the raffle prizes on the day!

Thank you to everyone for coming along on the day and making it such a memorable, wonderful occasion. We feel incredibly lucky to work alongside people we support and celebrate their skills, and passions, with you all. If you came along to our event, comment below your favourite part 💜💭

At the end of June, we ran our first day trip of 2025 to Llandudno! Our gang had a fantastic time, from the bingo on the coach to climbing the Great Orme to shopping in local stores 🚌🛍

The feedback from everyone has been absolutely glowing and we can't thank everyone enough for coming along!

Spotlight on our 'Learning Disability Week Event' volunteers 🌟

Our artists showcased their creations to attendees and brought the event to life with creativity and colour. Our bakers brought the sweetness to the day, with their delicious homemade cakes and sweet treats that were part of our bake sale 🎨🧁

We cannot thank people we support enough for all their effort and sharing their creations with us. We’re so proud to celebrate the skills and passions of people we support with you, and the incredible value they bring to all our communities.

Before our Learning Disability Week event, we hosted a craft session led by one of our support workers - Kat 🎨

In the session, people we support created pinch pots and coasters! Their creations were used at our art workshop, during our event for Learning Disability Week, where guests could paint and decorate a pot or coaster before taking it home.
