Mental Health NCS

Mental Health NCS We are a team of young people on the NCS program creating a social action, in order to help people with mental illnesses in our community.

1 in 10 children from ages 5-16 suffer from diagnosable mental health disorder. That is around 3 children in every class in school. We think that this is a large amount for people of such a young age. Mental Health disorders can affect everyone and can be developed from any age. It is not just a phase - it can last with people their whole lives. Our aim is to try and raise awareness for Liverpool Mental Health Consortium so that our community can help people with this illness. This charity helps many little charities that help towards this cause so that money can be spread across equally ensuring that people have the opportunity to make a difference.

Get signing guys! Just showing support for a good cause, cyber bullying often leads to mental health issues in the adolescent years; so I believe that this is a great cause!

Many people, often children, have their private details leaked online. This may include their phone number, address, or even personal photos. This is a form of cyber bullying if the person did not give permission for their details to be leaked. It is essential for this online attack to be illegal.

We as a group are looking to raise awareness for mental health in Liverpool! We aim to do this by doing something similar to what A.L.S. did quite recently! So we challenge you to post a smiley selfie and put the and as your tag! So I'm challenging everyone from Team No Name and the rest of our followers to take part and spread the word that mental health matters!
