What a groovy time! 💙💛

Whittington Care Home recently threw back to the swinging sixties with a 1960s-themed fun day for our wonderful residents and their families.

It was a day filled with fantastic music, retro decorations, and plenty of dancing!

Seeing residents smiling, sharing memories, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere is lovely.

Music has a very powerful way of sparking memories!

A Bond Forged in Service, Rekindled at Willow Bank

When friendships last a lifetime.💙💛

We are incredibly honoured to share this lovely story from Willow Bank Care home, where two residents who served together in the Duke of Wellington’s Battalion have reunited in the home.

Every couple of months, they get together with others whom they served with to share food, drinks, stories and songs, continuing a special bond that began decades ago.

A sense of community and connection is vital at every stage of life, and we’re honoured to be able to support this within the home.
