🧘‍♀️ Taking a Moment for Self Care 💙💛

At Summit Care Group, we know that good care isn't just about supporting our residents, it's about supporting families too.

When a loved one moves into care, it can bring peace of mind knowing they’re safe, settled and well looked after.

But for many families, there’s still plenty to balance: work, life, emotions and time.

Today on Self Care Day, we’re gently reminding families (and our hardworking teams too!) that it’s okay to pause, recharge and take time for yourself.

Whether it’s ten quiet minutes, a walk outdoors or simply switching off for a while — every little moment matters.

Our talented ladies have been busy in the Oomph art group, creating this beautiful miniature bicycle planter which now sits proudly in our reception for everyone to enjoy 🌸🚲

Creative sessions are a wonderful way for our residents to stay active, express themselves and enjoy each other's company 🎨🖌️

Welcome to Acacia Bank’s beautiful cinema room!

The cinema is getting plenty of use at Acacia Bank Care Home.

Recently, residents enjoyed an afternoon screening of Meet Me in St Louis, complete with plenty of delicious chocolate (thanks to Peggy for making sure nobody missed out! 😄)

Creating these special shared experiences is what life at Acacia Bank is all about, bringing comfort, family and fun.

We believe this is what makes us feel at home, especially for our residents and their families 🩵💛
