Here are our February Stats, highlighting our impact across the North West:

✅ 121 emergency calls responded to

🟪 33 Category 1 incidents attended

🟥 88 Category 2 emergencies attended

🚑 We arrived before the nearest ambulance in 85 of those emergencies

⏱️ 347 hours of volunteer response time

All from a team of volunteers giving their time to help others but we can't do it alone.

There are 6 ways YOU can get involved and help us continue this lifesaving work:

1️⃣ Support an AED (defibrillator) in your community
2️⃣ Host or join a CPR awareness session
3️⃣ Donate directly via the link in our bio
4️⃣ Become a corporate sponsor
5️⃣ Volunteer at local events (Applications open)
6️⃣ Train to become a responder and attend emergencies too! (Applications currently closed)

Our team had a fantastic time with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management - FMLM at the ACC in Liverpool delivering an engaging workshop on CPR and AED awareness.

It was a great opportunity to highlight the work we’re doing across the region to improve access to lifesaving skills and equipment, and to empower more people to act confidently in an emergency.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated and supported the session, together we’re helping to build safer, heart-ready communities. 💙

We've Expanded! 🎉

We are proud to officially welcome the Chester Community First Responders to our charity.

This exciting expansion strengthens our regional presence and enhances our ability to support local communities through emergency response, CPR & AED awareness, defibrillator installations, and a range of community-led initiatives.

We now operate across the Wirral, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Carlisle, and now Chester, while continuing to support our surrounding areas.

A huge welcome to the Chester team, with a special thank you to Elena, Area Coordinator, Jack, Deputy Area Coordinator, and Laura, CFR, for leading the way.

It’s turned out to be a somewhat sunny weekend and our amazing CFRs have been busy out responding and supporting our communities. ☀️

Here are Wirral CFRs Boo and Andy out on duty, ready to respond when needed and providing vital early care across our region. 💙

While many are enjoying the brighter weather, our volunteers remain on call, helping to keep our communities safe. 🚑

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the 5th Bebington Scouts to deliver a CPR and AED awareness session. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and engagement from the group. 👏

We’re incredibly proud to support our local community by empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to step in and help when it matters most. 🫀

We’re incredibly proud to share that we have been awarded a £5,000 grant from GrantScape and the Burbo Bank Extension Community Fund, which has been made possible by the generosity of Ørsted 🙌

This funding will make a huge difference to our community. It will directly support the purchase of community defibrillators and new CPR training resources, including updated manikins, helping us continue to raise CPR awareness and make life-saving skills accessible to everyone 💙

A massive thank you to the Burbo Bank Extension Community Fund for believing in our work and investing in safer, stronger communities. This support will genuinely help save lives. 👏
