Our teams are out and about today, responding to emergencies, checking defibs, and connecting with our communities! 💙

Here are our April Stats, highlighting our impact across the North West:

✅ 208 emergency calls responded to

🟪 71 Category 1 incidents attended

🟥 137 Category 2 emergencies attended

✋ 50 Stand Downs Received

🚑 We arrived before the nearest ambulance in 135 of those emergencies

⏱️ 685 hours of volunteer response time

All from a team of volunteers giving their time to help others but we can't do it alone.

There are 6 ways YOU can get involved and help us continue this lifesaving work:

1️⃣ Support an AED (defibrillator) in your community
2️⃣ Host or join a CPR awareness session
3️⃣ Donate directly via the link in our bio
4️⃣ Become a corporate sponsor
5️⃣ Volunteer at local events (Applications open)
6️⃣ Train to become a responder and attend emergencies too! (Applications currently closed)

24-Hour CPR Marathon Announcement! 🚨

North West First Responder Group and LJMU Paramedic Society are hosting a 24-hour CPR Marathon this October! 👏

Whether you already know CPR or want to learn, everyone is welcome. Our Student Paramedics and CFRs will be there throughout to support and get you involved.

🕕 18:00 Friday 2nd October – 18:00 Saturday 3rd October, LJMU Student Life Building, L3 5AJ

Drop in anytime or register soon for a slot, bring friends, family, and colleagues along, a special invite goes out to all our emergency service partners and most importantly, you, our supporters!

**For our Student Paramedics and CFRs, we’ll also be running CPD sessions led by a range of industry experts and professionals, more details on this coming soon! 📲

Today is Heroes for Heroes Day! 🚑💙

A massive thank you to all the incredible schools and youth groups taking part, raising awareness of what we do and getting hands-on with your own CPR and AED activities. It’s inspiring to see so many young lifesavers stepping up! 👏

We’ve already seen some fantastic outfits, keep them coming! Wishing you all the best for an amazing day! 🤩

This week, we are taking charity leave to give our incredible volunteers the rest they truly need & deserve. 💙

You can donate broken or unwanted jewellery, foreign and old banknotes from any country, used stamps and some electronics such as old phones and tablets to help support our work while reducing waste. ♻️
