Special fermenting session at Bootle Library on Tuesday 4th November — this time, we’re preparing for a community feast.
We’ll be making a big batch of kimchi using wild, locally gathered spices, part of Hannah Fincham’s ‘Seasoning’ residency. Some of what we make will be shared later in the month at the feast — and everyone who comes along will be invited to join us there too.
You’ll also make your own jar of wild kimchi to take home 🥬🌶️🥬🥕🫙 alive, fizzing and full of autumn energy.
If you’ve been curious about fermentation, or you just like the idea of chopping, mixing, and chatting around a table with others, come along.
It’s a gentle, grounding way to spend an afternoon — and to be part of something bigger 🍂🍁🙌🏻
