As we come to the end of another busy and successful year, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been achieved at IEC Medical.

This year saw us secure several new contracts, enabling us to continue delivering high-quality medical services nationwide across a wide range of environments and industries.

Alongside our operational work, training has remained a core focus. We delivered FREC3 training courses, Emergency Medical Gases courses, and our full First Aid training suite across the country. These courses supported individuals and organisations to build competence, confidence, and compliance in emergency care.

We also worked closely with one of our clients to support targeted health and safety campaigns, and were proud to be part of the induction process for contractors working on site, ensuring safety, preparedness, and medical readiness from day one.

This year marked a major milestone for the business as we moved into our new offices and dedicated training centre, giving us the space and facilities to support our growing team and expanding services.

📊 By the numbers this year:
• Medical hours delivered: 10,483
• Trainer hours delivered: 1,778.5
• Office and operational support hours: 4,912

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our clinicians, trainers, office team, and the continued trust of our clients and partners.

🚨 FREC 3: What. A. Week! 🚨

Our latest group of learners have officially survived (and thrived!) the First Response Emergency Care (Level 3) course here at IEC Medical and we couldn’t be prouder! 🎉

Over five action-packed days, they’ve bandaged, splinted, lifted, carried, assessed, reassessed, and probably re-reassessed again 😅. They’ve managed simulated chaos, saved a few plastic patients, and mastered everything from catastrophic bleeding control to airway management, all while surviving our instructors’ sense of humour.

We’ve had CPR marathons 💓, trauma scenarios worthy of an action movie 🎬, and some of the most creative patient handovers you’ll ever hear (“He’s fine, just missing a leg and a bit of dignity!”).

But jokes aside, every single one of them has shown true dedication, teamwork, and professionalism. They’ve built confidence, developed life-saving skills, and proven they’ve got what it takes to step up when it matters most.

So, from all of us at IEC Medical, a HUGE congratulations to our newly qualified First Responders! 👏👏👏

You’ve earned those pens, notepads, water bottles, flashcards, a well-deserved nap and even maybe a certificate 😍.

Until next time… stay safe, stay skilled, and remember; if you hear “this is just a simple scenario,” it probably isn’t. 😉
