🏋️‍♂️ Respect & Behaviour in the Gym

1. Wipe down equipment after you use it (your sweat isn’t someone else’s pre-workout 😅).

2. Don’t hog the machines – if you’re taking long breaks, let others work in.

3. Don’t judge anyone – everyone starts somewhere.

4. Don’t give unsolicited advice – even if you mean well, it can be annoying.

5. Use polite language and keep a positive attitude.

🎧 Personal Space

6. Don’t stand too close to someone mid-set – especially during squats, bench or rows.

7. Keep your focus on your own training – don’t stare (especially at women).

8. Wear headphones – the gym isn’t the place for your personal concert.

🏋️ Order & Equipment

9. Put the weights back – always! No one wants to play “find the plates”.

10. Don’t drop dumbbells unnecessarily – it shows lack of control, not strength.

11. Don’t block the mirrors – they’re for checking form, not constant selfies (though the occasional one is fine 😄).

15. Offer help if someone needs it (spotting, posture tips etc.).

16. Greet people and smile – the gym is a place for good vibes, not toxic competition.

Dear Students,

I need to be honest and sincere with you.

I’m in the gym every single day cleaning. I painted the whole place, I’ve wiped every corner during the last three days, and this morning at 6:00 I was there washing the showers and cleaning everything. I do this because I care about this gym and about your experience here.

I refuse to believe that an adult would throw rubbish on the floor — so this message is strictly for students. Please, show some respect for the gym and for the work I put in every single day. If your parents taught you to put trash in a bin, do it here too. If not, start learning now — we are not living in the Middle Ages.

If I see litter on the floor again, I will ban all students from the gym. Maybe then you’ll start paying attention to each other and reminding your friends to behave properly. You can also tell me who doesn’t know how to act like a decent human being, and I will take action.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be watching closely. The first person I catch throwing rubbish on the floor will be banned permanently. I’m really tired of seeing my hard work disrespected — this is my gym, and I take pride in keeping it clean for everyone.

Please respect the space, throw your rubbish in the bin, and help keep Stayfit a clean, safe, and welcoming place for everyone.

URGENT — ZERO TOLERANCE
To all members,

Over the past weeks a group of 6–7 people have been coming in during the evening only to wrestle, push into walls and cause damage. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and it STOPS NOW.

Effective immediately:

CCTV cameras are being installed in every corner. Anyone caught damaging the gym will pay for repairs before being allowed back.

Anyone showing disrespect or using this place to fight instead of train will be suspended and permanently banned.

This gym is built on discipline and respect. If you cannot behave, you do not belong here.

And let me make one thing clear: just because I am respectful and fair does not mean I am stupid. Do not mistake kindness for weakness.

If you want to spar or do contact training, speak with management to arrange a proper session. Otherwise, train properly, respect the gym, or stay out.
