The Year of the Snake is still with us… quietly working. 🐍
And on February 17th, we step into the Year of the Horse 🐎
But before the movement…
there is the shedding.
Snake energy is ancient.
It doesn’t rush.
It coils.
It waits.
It sheds skin not because it’s dramatic
but because growth requires release.
These last weeks of the Snake aren’t asking you to push forward.
They’re asking you to notice.
Notice:
what feels tight
what you’ve outgrown
what you’re still carrying because it once kept you safe
Snake teaches us that wisdom often comes in quiet discomfort.
That clarity arrives slowly.
That transformation happens underground before it’s ever visible.
The Horse year brings motion, freedom, expansion, truth in the body.
But horses move best when they are unburdened.
When they aren’t dragging old fear, old stories, old expectations behind them.
So this in-between time is sacred.
It’s a pause to ask:
What skin is ready to be shed?
What version of you no longer fits?
What needs honouring before it’s released?
Preparation doesn’t look like planning.
It looks like:
rest
reflection
honesty
nervous systems settling
allowing endings without forcing beginnings
Let Snake finish her work.
Because when Horse energy arrives,
it won’t ask you to think
it will ask you to move.
And how you move will depend on what you chose to put down first.
