Batch cook and freeze
Drink some more water
Bake cake instead of buying it

We can get lured into social media and herbal promises that cost a lot of money on our quest for improving how we feel.

Sometimes the reality is we just need to drink more water / fluids, and consistently build a habit to drink enough so we have pale, straw coloured p*e ?( number 2 on the chart).

That was certainly the revelation for someone today ๐Ÿซ—๐Ÿฅ›๐Ÿ’ก

Simple Rule
Fewer ingredients = usually less processed
Compare:
Plain oats โ†’ minimally processed
Chocolate-flavored instant oats with additives โ†’ ultra-processed

Types of Processed Foods
Processed foods are foods altered from their natural state for preservation, convenience, flavor, or texture. Processing can range from minimal to ultra-processed.
1. Minimally Processed Foods
Natural foods with slight changes for convenience or safety.
Examples:
Washed and cut vegetables
Frozen fruits
Roasted nuts
Plain yogurt
Pasteurized milk
Brown rice
Tea and coffee
Usually considered healthy.
2. Processed Culinary Ingredients
Ingredients extracted from foods and used in cooking.
Examples:
Sugar
Salt
Butter
Vegetable oils
Honey
Flour
Used to prepare meals rather than eaten alone.
3. Processed Foods
