is a peer led support group for breastfeeding mums to get advice & support with their breastfeeding journey.

We meet weekly on a Friday Morning 10am-12pm at The Hanging Gardens, Llanidloes; where you can join us for a chat, cuppa & cake.

Exciting News!!!!!

We have some exciting news to share with you all. We have made the decision to move venues 😝🩷

Whilst we have enjoyed the milky lattes & yummy cakes at the hanging gardens (Thank you so much Kate & co.), we are moving to a lovely large carpeted room where the children can run wild, and play to their hearts content!

We will be meeting at the community hall room in St Idloes Church (the one over looking the river)

Please join us for our first session back after summer holidays on September 5th, 10-12 🩵

🌸 Breastfeeding Week 🌸

It’s Breastfeeding Week — a week I sometimes wonder if we need, because for me, supporting mums with breastfeeding is just part of daily life. It’s what I live and breathe & I wish it was just normal for everyone💛

But in the UK, where breastfeeding rates are among the lowest in the world, taking time to celebrate, share, and normalise breastfeeding still really matters. So this week, I want to shine a light on the amazing women who come to our breastfeeding group each week.

You are strong, selfless, and absolutely incredible. Whether things have gone smoothly or it’s been a struggle, you keep showing up — for your babies, for each other, and in many ways, for me too.

Over this past year, as I’ve navigated my own tough journey through motherhood, this group has been a lifeline. A place of solidarity, laughter, tears, biscuits, and b***s — and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Here’s to all of you. 💕
Let’s keep lifting each other up — this week and every week.

Morning All 🌅
BIBS is in this morning, remaining in the bottom room as it worked much better for the more active babies 🩷

Just a reminder that there is a slight change to refreshments offered:

☕️ You can have a regular tea/ coffee, alongside a cake (not pastry!)
🍰 If you want a hot drink with syrup/ pastry/ or a combination/ cake - you will have to pay the difference
🫖 You are welcome to have a more luxury drink if you are not wanting a cake/ pastry

Apologies for the change, however as a small group we can not afford to increase in costings & the cafe need to increase their prices due to rising costs. Thank you all for understanding

CANCELLED SESSION

There will be a casual mum meet up but no BIBS refreshments or peer support availability. We are very sorry 🩷

Morning All 🩷
BIBS will be on this morning even though there is an inset day for our Powys cluster.
Older siblings are welcome to attend ( we aren’t able to provide refreshments for anyone other than the breastfeeding mother but there is plenty available to purchase) 🥰

Today PHW will be attending group to take some video footage for the breastfeeding welcomed scheme 🎥 🤱🏽
