The Many Faces of ADHD 🧠

This ADHD Awareness Month, we’re recognising one of the lesser-seen faces of ADHD; the link with drug and alcohol use.

People living with ADHD are around twice as likely to experience challenges with drug and alcohol use. It’s not about recklessness or moral failure, but about coping and management.

At Kaleidoscope, we believe understanding, not judgement, is the first step to harm reduction. When we see the whole person, not just the diagnosis or the behaviour, we create space for change, connection, and hope.

Every story is unique, and every face deserves compassion.

💬 Let’s keep talking about The Many Faces of ADHD, and build services that truly meet people where they are.

Next week is Alcohol Awareness Week and this years theme is 'alcohol and work'.🧡🧑‍💼👷‍♀️💼

With longer hours, more stress, the blurring of lines between work and home, and too many workplace cultures that place booze rather than people at the centre of things, there are so many ways work and alcohol are linked.

We’ll be looking at the benefits of creating healthier, safer and more respectful workplace cultures in all types of industries and sectors – from offices to factories, shift-work to front-line services.
