I am Ginny Moffett, also known as Fire Angel, and I have been teaching and practising Classical Hatha Yoga for over 30 years. I trained in London in 1986 with Frances Houlahan and attended regular classes at the Sivananda Centre. In 1989 I trained to teach Vinyasa Ashtanga Yoga with Ganga White and Tracey Rich at the White Lotus Foundation in California, and later qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2008. My style of yoga is a blend of Classical Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga; a mix of the vigorous and the gentle, the ancient and the new. I am deeply grateful to the many teachers who have inspired my yoga path: Frances Houlahan, Swami Satchidananda, David Williams, Danny Paradise, John Scott, Sandy Chubb, Manu Rossi, Richard Freeman, to name but a few. I opened The Space, Yoga & Healing Studio in Thame, Oxfordshire in 2009 offering a wide variety of yoga classes to suit all abilities. The studio closed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. You can get Information on my current teaching schedule through the website: www.fireangelyoga.com

This has included teaching those who are well into their nineties. I have a CD called Keep it all Moving which will take you through a 40 minute routine. My children's book 'Strong as a Mountain, Supple as a Snake', was published in February 2021. It is selling though online booksellers and through my website. I have taught yoga in prisons, particularly through the Prison Phoenix Trust. I believe yoga and meditation provide an opportunity to teach prisoners, and particularly young offenders, techniques for managing difficult emotions in challenging circumstances and offers an opportunity for introspection, in order to make positive personal changes. I am a qualified Reflexologist with the Bayly School of Reflexology and was trained by Cathy Wade and Nicola Hall. I have been practising for over 30 years and I strongly believe in the healing and therapeutic benefits of this complimentary therapy. I also offer a yoga practice suitable for the corporate world with particular attention given to improved physical and mental wellbeing, stress management, relaxation, fitness and nutrition. My clients have included the US Peace Corps, International Red Cross, Tesco Group, Amey, Wragge & Co. and The Tonic. I am currently offering classes, workshops, teacher training and retreats.
