Fife Sailability Fife Sailability is a Club specifically for those with a disability, it is based at Lochore Meadows Watersports Centre in central Fife.

We operate as part of the Royal Yachting Association's Sailability initiative, facilitating the exhilaration and freedom that sailing can bring to all. We can mix & match gentle cruising, hands on sailing or formal training to suit individual needs and welcome groups or single participants. Parents and/or carers are welcome to share the experience. We supply essential safety equipment but v

isitors need to wear clothing suitable for a cool and rainy day. We have a dedicated changing/shower/toilet facility for our disabled participants. We are qualified to transfer sailors with our certified hoists and set high standards in safety and protection of vulnerable persons.

I was an RYA dinghy instructor for many years but once I became disabled I thought being an RYA instructor was no longer an option for me so gave it up.

I had absolutely no idea that it's still possible until I saw this Facebook post this morning!!

It was only a start and lots more to sort through but hopefully we can organise it so that everyone can find everything.
