Fife Sailability

On the last day of our boating season we were delighted to welcome Campion Homes along to visit our club to present Fife Sailability a cheque for £3,000.

We were delighted to show them all of our boats in action and how our members get out on the water.

The money donated to Fife Sailability, which is a charity will enable the volunteers to keep the club running, maintain boats & kit.

The club is solely run by volunteers for its 45 members and 30 carers who attend on club days April to September.

Here are some photos of the presentation of the £3,000 cheque. Photo taken infront of our wheelyboat with Kitty sailing past behind and our Challenger sailing boats on the jetty.

In this bleak dreech Fife day, here are "the best of Millie" photos sent in to us. Thought they were ideal to post to make you all smile.

Millie absolutely loves fife sailability and being out on the water. Her family call it her "happy place"

We are delighted she enjoys herself and we know Millie will be at the front of the queue for rejoining as a member in 2026!!

thank you to everyone today who helped on our last club day of our boating season. Despite having lots of volunteers, I know many still didn't manage to have a 5 min break!!

A very busy day with people running very late due to road closures in Lochgelly, a ding to the prop, missing fuel, 3 people interested in joining as a volunteers, 2 visitors from Campion homes to present a cheque plus recovering boats as it's the end of the season!

Thank you to Diane for the donation of soup, Ann for donating bread rolls, Ruth's donation of homemade cookies, Mrs Douglas for her donation of the best carrot cake I've ever tasted!!

One of our members Andrew kindly donated buiscit for the volunteers which was very kind.

35 members and 25 carers, so 60 people on the water plus Gary, Janet, Olly and Harry all visiting us to helpon the water.
