This afternoon our residents from both homes enjoyed a fantastic musical trip down memory lane with the lovely Moran 🎶💃

From Mamma Mia to Grease to The Sound Of Music and Somewhere Over The Rainbow, the room was full of singing, dancing and smiles as everyone joined in with some musical favourites 🌈🎙️

A brilliant afternoon that’s definitely set us up braw for the weekend!🌟🎵

Today we put our residents to the ultimate test… listening to some of today’s modern music hits! 🎤🔥

The reactions? Absolutely HILARIOUS 🤣 From confused faces 😳 to unexpected dancing 💃🕺 and a few “What on earth is this?!” moments 😂 it’s safe to say we were all laughing together! ❤️

Some loved it and some were shocked 🎧😅 But one thing’s for sure… the smiles and laughter filled the whole home today!

We took the opportunity to thank each and every member of our team for their hard work, kindness, dedication and care every single day 💐✨

🪩🍔🎳A Strikingly Good Day 🎳🍔🪩

Today we took a trip to Hollywood bowl, joined by some friends from Robert Allan. We started our game off with a strike as Scott got one on his first try, which made it clear…. The competition was on!🥇😂

Benore and Robert Allan residents were pinned against one another to see which home has better bowlers, this caused many laughs and there was lots of chatter between friends 😁🏅

The leaderboard changed from turn to turn and it was neck and neck and after a long and exciting game our winners were:

After our game we took a trip to McDonald’s to refuel, were the laughs and chats continued as we enjoyed a tasty ( And messy meal) and even recognised some friends. Overall it was a joyful day for all. 🍔🥰

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☀️💂Tour Of The War💂☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Today we took a trip to The Black Watch Museum, joined by some of our friends from Robert Allen. It was interesting to learn about that Regiment’s role in Scottish history, and the staff were lovely and very enthusiastic about the exhibits, which we may have got lost in once or twice 🙈😅 Chrissy even managed to find herself a man in uniform, that definitely wasn’t advertised on the pamphlet 🥰😂

All the galleries were full of real memorabilia from 1726 to 2006, showcasing Medals, Weapons, and even uniforms worn by soldiers. We even got the opportunity to try some on! Let us know in the comments…. Who wore it best? 🏅✨

The roasting weather outside made for a lovely Picnic to help us refuel, and plenty of laughs were had, we even learned that Andrew has served in the Gordon Highlanders, and Tommy had served in the Black Watch Regiment! This led to some banter over who was better in the Army😂

Overall it was a fun day full of laughs, history and sun 🌸💖

What a month it’s been here at Benore 💙

From joyful Easter celebrations 🐣 and special Mother’s Day moments 💐, to national days, birthdays 🎂 and exciting minibus adventures 🚌,April has been packed with smiles and laughter

We’ve loved rocking out at band rehearsals 🎶, getting back into the garden to soak up the sunshine 🌿☀️, and creating lots of meaningful, person-centred experiences every single day 💛

✨ There’s always something happening at Benore… and we wouldn’t have it any other way ✨
