🎭🚐🌞 August 2025 🌞🚐🎭

What an amazing, action packed month we’ve had here at Benore! 💜

✨From our T In The Car Park Fundraising Music Festival, to the hilarious Gangsta Grannies day and even a chance for staff and residents to swap roles, we’ve truly celebrated life, laughter, and community spirit.

🎂 We marked Benore’s Birthday in style, made wishes come true, and enjoyed plenty of meaningful outings on our minibus, including the launch of our very own Ravendale Care Party Bus and a brilliant trip to the Rockore Music Festival.

🎉 Alongside these adventures, we’ve started exciting new projects and kept busy with in home activities designed to keep our wonderful residents active, engaged, and living life to the fullest.

💡As summer rolls on, we’re already busy planning for September, and trust us, it’s shaping up to be just as full of fun, joy, and new memories!

📦🥕🥦 Fresh Express 🍊🍎📦

Our residents had a great time yesterday at Malcolm Wood’s fruit & Veg warehouse 🍏🥦

We helped pack up orders with Matthew and the team,who made us feel soo welcome👏 ( and even kindly gifted us some produce) 🥰

After a sunny stop at riverside park☀️ We then shared fruit & veg with Lorna Gallagher for her amazing community work🥰 aswell as our companion club regulars Anna & Margaret as our random act of kindness for the day⭐️

A big thank you to everyone👏

💫🎤💃 First Time Concert 💃🎤💫

✨🥰🎵 Wish Granted 🎵🥰✨

Christine recently shared a special wish, to go to a concert for the very first time in her life 🎸🥰.

So we made it happen and what a day it was 🎫🙌.

We headed to Rockore on Saturday, along with some friends, and the energy, music, and joy were absolutely unforgettable⚡️🎤.

From singing along to the classics, dancing in the sunshine like no one was watching, to laughing together all day long it was pure magic ✨😂.

Seeing Christine’s face light up with every beat was a beautiful reminder that it's never too late to try something new and live life to the fullest 🥰.

Here's to more firsts, more music, and many more memories to come 👏😊.

What a day!!!

🇬🇧🍳Full Bellies, Full English, Full Fun 🍳🇬🇧

Today at Benore, our residents went full Brit mode, and we loved it! 🥰 ✨

We kicked things off with a full English breakfast that could make even the King jealous. 👑🍳

The sausages were sizzling, eggs were flipping, and not a single baked bean was left behind.🥓🍳🍞

Then this afternoon came the real challenge! How many cream scones is too many cream scones? For us, there were no limits.🍓🍰

With plenty of tea, laughs, and Union Jack spirit, it’s safe to say we’ve had a royally good time! 🇬🇧💂‍♂️🙂

💐🥰✨ Wish Granted ✨🥰💐

Today we had the absolute pleasure of making Agnes wish come true 💖.

Her wish was simple but so special to her 😊. Agnes wanted to go shopping for a lovely outfit, get all dressed up, and enjoy a fun date with her friends 💄👗.

We surprised her with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a mates date at Outboard by Scotts in Queensferry, where she enjoyed a wonderful meal and the stunning view of the bridges 💐🍽️🌉.

During lunch, Agnes shared how much she missed playing bowls🎳, so we made a stop at her old club, Abbey View Bowling Club, where she has proudly won three championship trophies 🏆🏆🏆.

With the help of Stuart and Kody, who went above and beyond 🙌, Agnes even got to play again, lift her trophies, and smile as she saw her name shining on the winners board 📝✨.

Fun fact: Agnes once taught Kody’s boyfriend how to play bowls, and he kindly lent his set so she could relive those happy memories. The joy on her face said it all 😍.

Agnes told us it was a perfect day from start to finish and we couldn’t agree more 🥰.

🌸🍔🎤 Fayre,Friends & Fun🎤🍔🌸

Our residents along with friends from Robert Allan House,were kindly invited to the summer fayre at Benarty View Care Home🌸

From enjoying a delicious bbq🍔🌭, listening to live singer🎤💃 whilst browsing the stalls🍾, it was a day filled with joy,laughter,dancing & friendship 🥰🫶

A heartfelt thank you to Lesley & staff at benarty view for such a
warm welcome 👏 Your kindness made the day so special🌟🫶

🚌🎉🪩Party Bus Time🪩🎉🚌

Did someone say Party Bus? That’s right Benore and Robert Allan have teamed up and transformed our bus into one fit for our partying 🥳

This will be one to remember as all our residents go on about how much fun they have as this wasn’t your average karaoke when on the move with our lovely bus driver Tommy going around our local community blasting the tunes 🎸

There have been laughs, new friends and most importantly lots of karaoke 🎤
