🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🪈💙 Tea, Tartan & Togetherness 💙🪈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our residents had a fantastic Scottish tea dance today complete with tartan, toe-tapping tunes and plenty of smiles💃🕺.

We also had even more reason to celebrate… Scotland’s big football win last night 🎉⚽ .

The room was full of pride, laughter and happy chatter as everyone relived the excitement 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

A huge thank you to our wonderful carers, Catherine and Shannen who joined in for a wee dance and helped make the afternoon extra special. Seeing residents and staff dancing together truly made everyone feel good💛.

What a brilliant day out we had at Summerlee Museum 🤩.

We stopped for a wee bit of lunch before setting off on our adventure around this wonderful place, taking in the incredible story of Lanarkshire’s industrial past 🧑‍🏭🏗️.

Then it was off on our journey back in time along Miners Row, a real step into the past. Our brilliant carer Brittany even had to try out the cludgie ⛏️😂.

And of course… we couldn’t let Tommy leave without having a shot on the old gider 😆.

Such a fantastic day full of laughs, learning, and memories. We even got a wee surprise when Chrissie gave us a tune on the Piano 🎹We are already looking forward to our next visit 🌟.

A massive thank you to Irene who went above and beyond to help us have the best experience ever 🙌.

🌸 🥰☺️ World Kindness Day 2025 ☺️🥰 🌸

A huge thank you to our wonderful carer Debbie, who gave up her free time today to bring in her adorable puppy Layla 🐶💖.

Layla spread so much joy and cuddles around the home, our residents were absolutely delighted. Smiles, laughter, and wagging tails all around 🥰.

It was just what we needed to brighten up this dreary, miserable weather ☔️💛.

Thank you, Debbie and Layla, for reminding us all how small acts of kindness can make such a big difference 💕.

🎄✨ Crieff, Cake & Christmas Cheer ✨🎄

It’s never too early for Christmas🎅.

We had the loveliest day out in Crieff, starting with a visit to the Nutcracker Christmas Shop, it’s impossible not to feel festive in there. The decorations, twinkling lights, and all that Christmas sparkle definitely got us in the holiday spirit ✨🎄.

Next stop was the Crieff Visitor Centre for a well earned hot lunch and delicious cake, as Chrissie and Oor Mary Doll were absolutely starving 😄, Chrissie came out with the quote of the day…

“Hunger makes good kitchen”, meaning when you’re hungry, you’ll eat anything 😋.

With our bellies full, we took in the fascinating history of the Highland Drovers, then rounded off our visit by watching the incredible glassblowers at work, their skill and precision making beautiful paperweights was amazing to see up close 🐮😊.

A perfect end to an amazing day out ❤️🎁.

🪖🎙️🥰 Wartime Melodies 🥰🎙️🪖

Today our residents took a trip down memory lane with a Wartime Finish The Lyrics music quiz 🎙️.

From Vera Lynn, to Max Bygraves, everyone sang along, shared stories and filled the room with laughter and nostalgia 💕.

Oor Mary Doll got right in to the spirit, she even treated us to another tune 🎵 .

It’s amazing how music brings back such cherished memories, thank you to everyone who joined in the singalong spirit 🕊️🎵.

🎨🏺✨Creative Clay Day! ✨🏺🎨

We had such a wonderful time at the Ceramic Cafe with our amazing residents! Everyone got to choose their own special clay piece to paint before it went into the kiln 👩‍🎨💖

🐴 Izella painted a beautiful memory keepsake for her horses Meesha and Sir Ian 💗
🐉 Lisa painted a dragon for her son Jack 🥰
🚂 Scott painted a train, his absolute favourite! 🚆

A huge shout-out goes to Ashley for suggesting this brilliant outing and supporting everyone throughout the day 👏💙
