Why is it so important to get back to nature & connect to all the little things that we often miss as we rush around with our eyes locked into screens & mind juggling to do lists? …… because nature heals!
It’s as simple as that…. Mother Earth knows best!

Mother earth has her own way of healing us when we slow down enough to listen? 🌱
💚 Lying beneath the trees or even just being amongst them calms the vagus nerve and soothes the nervous system.
🌍 Touching the soil sparks serotonin, lifting your mood naturally. Grounding with bare feet on the grass, planting & working in the garden is soul food!
🌧 The rhythm of rainfall synchronises the brain into a relaxed state. Walking in the rain & smelling the fresh scent of wet earth literally soothes the brain - an oil called geosmin, produced by soil-dwelling microbes realease a smell that signals to our brain that it is safe, it brings instant calm when we pause & let it work it’s magic!
⛰ Walking, especially up hills releases endorphins faster, lifting energy with every step. Raises heart rate & gives us a natural high!

The simplest moments with nature are often the most powerful medicines.
