Edward Scarlett had an eye for curves, having perfected the art of eyewear design in 1727 with the invention of the contemporary spectacle frame.
He opened his optical store in 1705 on Dean Street in Soho. The Groucho Club is located on the same street, and it seemed an appropriate place for our models to try our latest frames and admire the art.
