✨ From burnout to TEDx ✨

In 2022, I quit teaching. Burnt out. Exhausted. Afraid to even call in sick.

That wasn’t me.
I was the girl who moved to China on a whim.
The one who hustled for a job in Hong Kong.
The 23-year-old who solo-travelled Peru + Bolivia with no plan but courage.

But somewhere along the way, fear made me small.

💡 A turning point came when I joined a project called “How I See Myself; How Others See Me.” For the first time, I faced who I’d become: afraid, quiet, invisible.
And I decided: not anymore.

🚀 Since then:
• I ran the Great North Run after 10+ years of barely running.
• Rewired my mindset + my audio diet (music + audiobooks saved me).
• Led an orchestra for Netflix’s Queen Charlotte.
• Ran the London Big Half.
• Returned to teaching on my terms.
• Found my voice again through music + coaching.
• Turned 40 and actually celebrated myself.
• And this year… I was chosen as a TEDx speaker in Birmingham. 🙌

The lesson?
👉 You are not small.
👉 You are not stuck.
👉 You are not your burnout.

The path isn’t always clear.
But the breakthrough is always possible.
