✨ The Gut–Immune Connection ✨

Did you know that nearly 70% of your immune cells live in your gut?
Your gut isn’t just about digestion, it’s a powerful immune organ.

Every time you eat, your gut lining interacts with trillions of microbes, teaching your immune system what’s friend and what’s foe.

When this balance is disrupted; by processed foods, chronic stress, antibiotics, or poor sleep.. your immune response becomes confused.
You may notice allergies, food sensitivities, fatigue, or inflammation.

Inside your gut, special proteins called immunoglobulins act like guardians, helping your immune system stay calm and balanced.

But instead of restoring that balance, we often rely on immune suppressants which silence the symptoms without healing the cause.

It’s been such a transformative few years.
After finishing my DipION in 2022, diving into Nutrigenomics in 2023, and starting my IFM journey the same year — I’m beyond proud to share that I’m now a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. 💫

This journey has completely changed how I see health — it’s about staying curious, connected, and understanding how our bodies truly work, from the foods we eat and the way we live to the science of our hormones, genes, and longevity.

And honestly? Health is serious, but it doesn’t have to be boring.
We can make it fun, joyful, and sustainable — because that’s what lasting wellbeing really looks like.

Movement is my daily medicine. 🌿
No matter where I am — gym, cycling, reformer, yoga, hiking, swimming, or even a simple 30-minute walk — I try to keep my body in flow.

Yesterday I had the chance to attend an inspiring event organized by 🌿 The focus was on one of the most fascinating topics in nutrition science: the gut–brain connection and how a ketogenic diet can support mental performance 🧠✨

It was such a valuable reminder that nutrition is not only about what we eat, but also about how it shapes our brain and overall wellbeing.

What made it even more special was the sense of community — like-minded people coming together to learn, share and get inspired. It’s always such a joy to connect with others who are passionate about science, nutrition and wellbeing. 💫 .wolf.health

And the highlight… I was lucky enough to win Dr. Jonathan Prousky’s Integrative Clinical Nutrition book 📚💙 Such an incredible resource that I can’t wait to dive into.
