Yoga isn’t always about flexibility and it can be daunting to start if you’re a beginner. You may not be able to do all the movements at first but with practice and time it will come, so come on over to Kuula and start your journey 🫴🏽.

Getting into a routine of practicing Yoga can be difficult that’s why we, as Kuula have some great tips to help you get started:

1. Leaving your mat out serves as a daily reminder to take some time out of your day and spend some time on your mat.

2. Practicing as soon as you get out of bed saves you from the dreadful term “procrastination” AND seeing as your mats already out, you’re already halfway there😉.

3. Sleep in yoga friendly pajamas, that’s going to save you time from having to first change into an appropriate outfit.

4. Have a glass of water on standby so you can hydrate and get into your session straight away. As opposed to dawdling around the kitchen and getting distracted.

5. Follow an online class. This last one Kuula has got your back with because we’ve got a ton of yoga teachers on the platform who can help make your journey easier☺️.

Over the last 6 years of teaching yoga and through my personal practice, I've developed a nurturing and observant style of yoga. My students really connect with this style and in turn themselves. My style of classes are simple, straightforward and easy to follow. The aim of the classes is to promote mindfulness, connect with your breath and to release tension in order to go about your day with a smile.

“My classes offer something for everyone, from introduction and beginners classes to more a more advanced practice. My style is quite fluid (a mix between Hatha and Vinyasa) building strength and length at the same time.

From sweaty fast paced flows that bring your heart rate up to slow and powerful strengthening classes that fire up your core, legs and shoulders. I got you, sis!

I like to focus not only on correct alignment in each posture but also on smooth transitions between the asanas. Balance my friends!
