Its CARERS week.. and as you all know they work day in day out to ensure our customers are provided with high quality care and we want to remind them just how special they are! We decided that there is nothing better than a nice refreshing drink on a break and we thought we would treat our carers to a little something to make that happen.

Warwickshire’s oldest resident, John, who is nearly 109, will be taking part in this year's Commonwealth Games baton relay! 🎉

John was born in 1913, and got his first job in London as an apprentice repairing typewriters at 16 years old. In 1942 John moved to the midlands where we worked as a car manufacturer for a further 40 years. John will be playing a key role ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as a baton bearer in the Queen’s Baton Relay. He said: “I am honoured to take part in such a historic event and to be chosen as a baton bearer".

Congratulations on becoming a baton bearer and wishing you a very happy 109th birthday next week.
